pawntificator 15-Sep-21, 19:56	I'm a very lenient mod and wish to uphold the ideas of freedom of speech as long as it is done within the rules. But I'm also okay with redfox doing whatever he wants, I trust his judgment.
redfoxrising 15-Sep-21, 20:03	I like the freedom of speech here also and as long as the GK rules are upheld I am ok. I just don't care for personal attacks on members or nor members of our club. also do not mind discussions as long as they don't get out of control. We just want to be fair.

If we had a thread just for those people to write on the wall might be a good place to discuss stupid things and we can advise them what they have posted is not acceptable if they go over the top. stay within GK rules and I'd be fine with that.

I am sure Colin Powell was vaccinated, but his death from Covid highlights how susceptible certain segments of the population are. Herman Cain scoffed at the seriousness of this disease before he died from it. Same holds for a surprising number of religious figures and conservative radio personalities.
stalhandske 18-Oct-21, 07:35	shiva Colin Powell was treated for severe myeloma. That explains at least in part how it was possible that he died of corona despite having been fully vaccinated. His immune response was apparently weakened.

Anywhere and anytime the thoughts and voices of ideas, information or news reports are RESTRICTED or CENSORED oppression surely follows. The usual Gameknot policies governing acceptable standards of behavior will be observed. However, NO OTHER restrictions of expression - especially as touches the so called CONSPIRACY THEORIES - shall NOT BE INFRINGED on your right to express or air your mind about anything which may interest you. So, while the oppressive course of world events continue to gradually silence freedom, here at least (While we are yet able) let us talk about what matters most to you. We are doing our best in following the founders Club Description. Discussions of both sides of Theory's can be discussed here. Making a new thread sometimes is best for this. IF discussion takes off the thread will be left near the top and if not it will be at the end. I'm interested in hearing about what members think and believe in. There is no GK rule that should be broken with discussing topics that are debatable.

chess4him 07-Dec-22, 10:05	I am like bad penny... ...I just keep showing up. Thank you for accepting my request. Like stonedhengetribe, I missed Woodstock but the next year I went to "WoodStock II" at Randall's Island in New York. Still had almost all the Woodstock attendees including Jimi Hendricks, 10 Years After, Joe cocker, etc. Seeing Jimi Hendricks playing is my most endearing memory. The people walking around with trays like the old airlines/clubs offering a choice off drugs was somehow another memory I can't forget. lol I am a Christian Conservative disappointed in our messaging and leadership. I do enjoy listening to all sides although I have a low tolerance for descriptive adjectives verses facts, history and wisdom. If challenged or corrected, I often do not reply immediately that I may do "homework" to identify my misinformation, resources or failings. My political attention is primarily towards free speech with specific interest and concern for the Fourth Estate aka Legacy Media. If I were King or Queen for a day, I would decree standards taught and encouraged for "fair" journalism. I play chess solely in the league. If available, I'd welcome your challenge regardless of rating. Thanks again for the acceptance. Much regard, Joe
