Why Did Rep Romney Vote for Conviction . .
Of Trump's Impeachment? Hmm . . .

"Romney's Ties to Barisma Being Swept Under the Rug? Should Romney Recuse Himself?"

According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by “Cofer Black,” joined Burisma’s board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burisma’s board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burisma’s website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board.

Didn't Romney make his money by buying up companies, ripping them apart to sell the pieces, lay off the workers and then discard the husk? Am I mistaken about that?

Yeah
Romney destroyed businesses and lives for profit.

Pretty sad that he’s the only one in the GOP with the balls to call it straight. It says loads about the moral caliber of the rest of them!

Agreed. You’d surely think some other republicans place country and ethics over party loyalty, but no. This weasel Romney is the only one.

Hear! Hear!
Well said, Z_L!

But regardless, you're all missing the point here IMO.

"Why Mitt Romney Must Prevent Joe Biden From Testifyng in the Senate Impeachment Hearings"

Why the Democrats and the Republicans do not want the Bidens to testify is tied to the fact that ultimately, Romney confederate, Cofer Black will be exposed. Witnesses are not deserved in the Senate, but I would like to see them because it would blow the lid off the Congressional and Senatorial corruption that exists with regard to Ukraine and their cess pool of criminal activities.

It is my belief that America will never be vindicated and validated in the modern era and if people like cartel-darling Nancy Pelosi, Ukrainian arms dealers servant, Adam Schiff, and one of the world’s most notorious criminals, Hillary Clinton, don’t go to prison for their treason and other felonies committed against the people of the United States. However, there is a impediment to these prosecutions. The mafia-like criminality associated with many top politicians, such as Mitt Romney, are so embedded into the American framework, that corruption and criminality are two of the mainstay characteristics of the present political landscape. In other words, being a serial criminal is the expected norm for many politicians. And there is nobody more deserving of going to prison than Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney BEGGED for Donald Trump’s support when he decided to run for the open Senate position in Utah. Trump campaigned for Romney. Then why did Romney suddenly turn on Trump? This is where the investigative work of Alexandra Daley and myself come into play.

thecommonsenseshow.com

So many of the NeverThrumpers go on and on about President Trump's corruption; well, boys are girls, the trail of Joe Biden's Ukrainian - and by extension the DNC as well - is the best way forward. If anyone really wants to root out corruption IMO

"Giuliani: Releasing Evidence to Show Biden Corruption in Ukraine"

He claimed that his evidence will show that Biden allegedly bribed then-Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko to drop a corruption investigation into Burisma Holdings, the natural gas firm that employed the vice-president's younger son Hunter.

"I didn't go look for dirt on Joe Biden," Giuliani said. "It was handed to me. It was handed to me almost a year and a half ago."

He said he was given information on Ukrainian corruption, "and they told me that there was a great deal of collusion going on in Ukraine to fix the 2016 election in favor of Hillary Clinton."

www.newsmax.com

"See The Evidence Proving Ukraine SHOULD Investigate Hunter Biden"

The liberals are going nuts because of the claim President Trump asked the Ukrainian President to investigate Hunter Biden for corruption that occurred when he was on the board of the Ukrainian natural gas company, Burisma Holdings. The liberals are ignoring many things including that there is plenty of evidence suggesting that there is probable cause for Hunter Biden to be investigated by Ukraine and that his father Joe may have used his position as Vice President to protect his son.

They are also failing to acknowledge the supposed whistleblower had no direct knowledge of the call between Trump and the Ukranian. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko who does have direct knowledge denied reports that President Trump pressured Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, “I know what the conversation was about, and I think there was no pressure. This conversation was long, friendly, and it touched on many questions, sometimes requiring serious answers.” And the investigation began before Zelensky was elected on April 21, 2019 (John Solomon wrote about the investigation being started a month earlier), so if anything President Trump was urging Volodymyr Zelensky to keep the investigation going.

A senior member of Ukraine’s Prosecutor General’s International Legal Cooperation Dept. told John Solomon five months ago, that since last year, he’s been blocked from getting visas for himself and a team to go to the U.S. to deliver evidence of Democratic party wrongdoing during the 2016 election, and Hunter Biden corruption to the DOJ. The senior prosecutor Kostiantyn Kulyk never got an answer, and he says it’s because the visas were blocked by the U.S. Ambassador. The Ambassador, Marie L. Yovanovitch is a career diplomat (since 1986) was appointed to her present position in August 2016 by former President Obama and removed by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The attempt to make the Ukrainian Govt. happy and accept the evidence is the reason Guiliani got involved a month ago per John Solomon.

Here’s the evidence we do have. Ukrainian Prosecutor Kostiantyn Kulyk explained they were prevented from providing evidence about Hunter Biden and the Democratic Party working with Ukraine to interfere with the 2016 US presidential election.

Ukrainian authorities gathered evidence that money paid to an American Democrat allegedly was hidden by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) during the 2016 election under pressure from U.S. officials. “In the course of this investigation, we found that there was a situation during which influence was exerted on the NABU, so that the name of (the American) would not be mentioned,” he said.

Kostiantyn Kulyk told John Solomon their evidence includes:

Sworn statements from two Ukrainian officials admitting that their agency tried to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton. The effort included leaking an alleged ledger showing payments to then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort.

Contacts between Democratic figures in Washington and Ukrainian officials that involved passing along dirt on Donald Trump.

Financial records showing a Ukrainian natural gas company routed more than $3 million to American accounts tied to Hunter Biden, younger son of then-Vice President Joe Biden, who managed U.S.-Ukrainian relations for the Obama administration. Biden’s son served on the board of a Ukrainian natural gas company, Burisma Holdings.
Records that Vice President Biden pressured Ukrainian officials in March 2016 to fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin who oversaw an investigation of Burisma Holdings and who planned to interview Hunter Biden about the financial transfers. In his own words, with video cameras rolling, Biden described how he threatened Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in March 2016 that the Obama administration would pull $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees, sending the former Soviet republic toward insolvency, if it didn’t immediately fire Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin.

Shokin told John Solomon in written answers to questions that, before he was fired as general prosecutor, he had made “specific plans” for the investigation that “included interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”

Correspondence showing members of the State Department and U.S. embassy in Kiev interfered or applied pressure in criminal cases on Ukrainian soil
Disbursements of as much as $7 billion in Ukrainian funds that prosecutors believe may have been misappropriated or taken out of the country, including to the United States.

One can find more information on the Joe Biden/Hunter Biden Scandal Guliani should bring a copy of Peter Schweizer’s book “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends.” The Hunter Biden story is one of the examples of the political class enriching family that Schweizer explains in the book.

Schweizer gave a shortened version of the Hunter Biden story to Breitbart.com:

“The bottom line is Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point-person on policy towards Ukraine,” noted Schweizer. “He steered $1.8 billion in aid to that government and while he was doing so, his son got a sweetheart deal with this energy company – that we’ve been able to trace over just a 14-month period – paid $3.1 million into an account where Hunter Biden was getting paid.”

Schweizer highlighted Hunter Biden’s lack of professional or experiential bona fides in terms of his board position at Burisma Holdings.

“Suffice to say, Hunter Biden has no background in Ukraine,” stated Schweizer. “He has no background in energy policy. There’s really no legitimate explanation as to why he got this deal with this energy company, other than the fact his father was responsible for doling out money in Ukraine itself.”

Schweizer went on, “It’s a huge problem, and it goes to this question of corruption and potential payoffs and bribes that these foreign entities were making to the Bidens in exchange for hopefully getting favorable treatment.”

Whether or not the actions of Joe Biden and his son Hunter crossed into illegality is yet to be seen but there is certainly enough evidence of probable cause proving they should be investigated by Ukraine. And if the President asked the new Ukrainian leader to continue . . .

corrupted politicians
The fact that many democrats leaders might be corrupted doesn't make Trump a Saint.
The opposite is true as well : the fact that Trump lies and cheats shouldn't excuse the Dem's leaders.

It's indeed very worrying for the US democracy (one of the oldest and most revered in the world), that the debate is so poor and limited to vindicative accusations, even if those accusations seem to be correct in most cases.

No surprise that half of the people do not vote, but it doesn't seem to disturb the politicians.

Excellent point, Ptitroque!

I say "point" because corruption by both parties undermines the prospect of actually addressing this scourge over our political system!

As long as one party continues to use the leverage of "exposing" or otherwise blackmailing the other we the people are stuck in the middle with an a broken system in which everyone loses.

The only silver lining is that at least the Progressive Democrats are not in power to implement their Anti-Constitutional Agenda. (Read -Globalist Agenda)

On this point - at least - we can rely on the Republican Party to keep our Republic in tact!

Good Ol Ed!
Tucker Carlson touched on many issues besides Romney's hypocrisy, and his calloused disregard for the average American.

Before I point out that this is the policy of the DNC who Romney is evidently trying to emmulate, for the most part the GOP is cut from the same cloth as well!

Carlson says, and I agree, politicians are out of touch - OBLIVIOUS - to the struggles and needs of the American people. Especially the American family. Dad, mother and their children!

I'll conclude with IMO studies prove conclusively that the nuclear family, as traditionally defined, is the best model for happy, stable and productive societies.

The Progressive Agenda, politicians who are not paying attention to the situation that the American people are in and a judicial system unprepared to fight for the American family are the reasons why the American people are struggling as much as we are.

Thanks for the link, Thumper.

<< You have picked your Champion now you get to live with it. >>

You, and the other critics of this president never cease to completely befuddle me with "strain at a gnat, yet swallow a camel "assessment" (COUGH!) in regards to Trump.

I get he used to have a reputation for being a philanderer and for running his businesses with less than above the board ethics. He used to do this, and he used do that.

And this reputation is ALL you people can talk about, and it's as if he did all these despicable things to YOUR family for God's sake.

Wish I could talk about the Anti Christian and Anti Traditional/ Conservative tear the nation from our foundations policies which used to be the goal from Washington DC before Trump out a stop to it. Wish you would talk about this.

Wish I could talk about the LGBTQ Agenda the previous president had been pushing. You know, the sexual orientation classes that the Democratic Party is so keen on pushing in our public schools.

The Socialist Philosophy which Hillary and the rest are all so much advocating for.

The fact that he's no longer employed in the private sector but is under the magnifying glass of the World press which surrounds him 24/7 looking for ANYTHING to Accuse him for - and they have FOUND NOTHING SINCE HE BECAME president is lost on you people for some reason I can't phantom.

Wish you could talk about how the Mainstream Media and who knows who ( But they're looking at that now) in Washington began pushing the Russian story from day one. Talk about that, why don't you?

Never mind that he's working tirelessly to get America back into the hands of the American people. Evidently you don't agree with his policies, but you don't want to talk about that, no, bring up his past never mind the Progressive Agenda he's saving America from.

Oh, no, is that why you hate him so much?

Poor little Mrs Hillary Clinton couldn't keep the God #$&@! Democrat's plans going to Destroy America.

Let's talk some specifics here, shall we?
