 The Chinese Communist Party Intends To Win - "Detente" IS NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARYDétente (a French word meaning release from tension) is the name given to a period of improved relations between the United States and the Soviet Union that began tentatively in 1971 and took decisive form when President Richard M. Nixon visited the secretary-general of the Soviet Communist party, Leonid I. Brezhnev, in Moscow, May 1972. www.history.com Interesting that President Nixon is mentioned in the example above. For it was also President Nixon who was first accepted to visit Communist China after a very long period without any diplomatic relationship. Many people in America do not recall the fear and suspecion which used to be the standard reaction whenever Red China was brought up in a discussion. Since then the idea of "inclusion" and "tolerance" or "acceptance" has been the watch words regarding people who are "different", or from another country. This includes America's relationship with Red China. BIG MISTAKE. It has been ignored by the Mainstream Media, but the fact is Communist China has been very, very active in covertly or illegally stealing technologies and medical advances - anything which would give them an edge. Anything. They're stealing technologies from Universities, through bribes and contracts with heads of research departments. The same thing in the private sector, and in the corporate world. The reason for my attention to this issue arises from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's recent speech at the National Governors Association. I was shocked, but not surprised that China had a think tank do an in-depth analysis of each of the American state governors. By name, each governor was assigned a "receptivity value", as to what chance they would be agreeable to "working with the Chinese Government" for accessing sensitive or secret technologies and information! Yes, receptive, maybe receptive or probably not receptive. Secretary Pompeo said he would not be surprised if they had already been approached. youtu.be |
