hmmm 90's TV
That's a great point. I wonder what happened there

I must admit, I never watched it or Seinfeld or Fresh Prince or Buffy or The Simpsons or etc., etc., etc. Name the show. Most of the TV fare that was all the rage back then held no interest for me.

Simpsons
My kids and I loved the Simpsons.

I watched an episode of Seinfeld from time to time--not often.

I liked the Canadian Kids in the Hall, but only saw a few episodes of that. Never saw a single episode of Fresh Prince, Buffy, the Kardashians, Tiger King, Duck Dynasty, Honey Booboo or such. Not a single episode--even by accident or when sick with something.

Oh, The Office. I wish I could see the British version--I hear it was quite good. I did not see all of the episodes--but these two I followed.

I think I saw Teletubbies one time. Tinky Winky.

Frasier
Frasier (1993–2004)
- IMDb user rating: 8.0
- Votes: 73,539

One of the anchor shows during NBC’s ascent as a comedy fireworks factory, “Frasier” ran for 11 seasons. Starring Kelsey Grammer as psychiatrist Frasier Crane, the show remains one of the most celebrated sitcoms ever. “Frasier” also had several tie-ins to another seminal sitcom, “Cheers.”

These 2 Guys from Good Burger
Kenan & Kel (1996–2000)
- IMDb user rating: 7.8
- Votes: 14,113

Like any good buddy comedy, “Kenan & Kel” connected with audiences due to the titular co-stars' on-screen chemistry. Centering two longtime friends, the show followed the two teens across a variety of adventures, and became an anchor of Nickelodeon’s late '90s lineup. Kenan Thompson went on to star on “Saturday Night Live,” and Kel Mitchell excelled on “Dancing with the Stars" in 2019.

ER
ER (1994–2009)
- IMDb user rating: 7.7
- Votes: 50,481

Yes, “ER” turned George Clooney into a megastar, but the show also made the medical drama en vogue for years to come. “ER” captured the perfect mix of sadness, humor, and heartwarming moments, and won a slew of Primetime Emmy awards. The show was also noted for its unique visuals, which were copied on many shows in the future.

3rd Rock from the Sun
3rd Rock from the Sun (1996–2001)
- IMDb user rating: 7.7
- Votes: 46,918

Alien comedies were done before “3rd Rock from the Sun,” but there was something about this clan from outer space that charmed audiences differently. John Lithgow and Joseph Gordon-Levitt starred in the show, which followed them and their colleagues learning to adapt to life on Earth. The show was sometimes filled with irreverent humor, but at many times was insightful with well-timed, one-liner jokes from French Stewart.

DOUG
Doug (1991–1994)
- IMDb user rating: 7.4
- Votes: 17,541

“Doug," one of the anchors for Nickelodeon in the '90s, was an animated show enjoyed by viewers of all ages. Following Doug Funnie and his friends, Skeeter and Patti Mayonnaise, the show was heavy on teaching lessons mixed with light humor. Oh, and we can’t forget Doug’s dog, Porkchop, who seemed like the perfect sidekick.

The King of Queens (1998–2007)
- IMDb user rating: 7.3
- Votes: 75,491

For almost 10 years, Kevin James was the king of sitcoms in this “Everybody Loves Raymond” spin-off. The show featured comic heavyweights like Patton Oswalt, Nicole Sullivan, and Jerry Stiller (who a few years earlier had a memorable recurring role on “Seinfeld”). In 2016, James starred in a new sitcom, “Kevin Can Wait,” which he denied was a reboot of “The King of Queens.”

Doug & Rugrats
Rugrats (1991–2006)
- IMDb user rating: 7.4
- Votes: 31,865

“Rugrats” often ran back-to-back with “Doug” on Nickelodeon and was equally beloved. Tommy Pickles and friends got into all kinds of mischief, and were known to be able to communicate among each other, but not with adults. A series of animated films followed.

It's terrible that white people would have a friend group. Very disappointing systemic white supremacy in plain sight. Cancel the show Friends. Also, cancel having friends at all.

Pawny
He makes such a good point. If white supremacists cannot craft a world without a hint or smudge of miscegenation, then all TV should be abolished.

When public pools were desegregated, whites solved that problem by cementing them over. If they had to share, by God they would be a dog in the manger. It is what the delightfully white baby Jesus would have wanted, from His own stable crib.

LS
I see that you remain as mean spirited and wrong as ever.

I'm wondering if you remember back to the early days of the Trump administration when HRC and the Dems were pushing the fake Russian Dossier and you were swearing that Trump had been caught in a Russia brothel and had w****s peeing all over him.

Do you remember that?

What do you say now that it has been completely debunked, even by the DOJ?
lord_shiva
11-Oct-21, 13:17

Do You Know?
Do you know what the difference is between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean?

Trump never paid to have a garbanzo bean on his face.

No, the pee tape has never been debunked--you have fallen for misinformation. Steele himself discounted the story as there was no independent verification of it--though we know similar events transpired with Trump at a Las Vegas hotel. It is irrelevant, because if Trump's face soaked up prostitute urine Christian evangelicals would just love him all the more. Trump's face has been baptized by the blessed urine, praise Jesus!

Moreover, what leads you to believe anything else in the Dossiere was debunked? Groper's lies? Groper insisted it was debunked, thus the Gospel according to Groper is forever beyond question, Amen? Did Groper sign your Bible too?

News flash: HRC never pushed the Dossiere. Barely made any mention of it. Steele was alarmed by what he uncovered of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, and reported his discoveries to his FBI contacts. This simply meshed with what they already knew of Groper's Russian contacts, about which Sessions, Flynn, and others lied. Hell, Flynn pleaded guilty over his lies before Groper pardoned him.

Softaire, why did Groper's campaign manager Paul Manafort give polling data to Russian agents? Do you deny this happened? Why did Groper pardon Paul Manafort?

Softie
He's not interested in truth fact or honesty, only what plays with his audience. His shtick is to be cheeky, flip and irreverent in a way the hard left enjoys. He tries to play the clever 'shock jock' but usually comes up short.
stalhandske
11-Oct-21, 19:54

The above post - I would say - is not what 'the left' enjoys. At least I don't. One simple reason is that when garbage like that is redundant, the actual troubling facts about the person in question are also not believed. But, speaking of truth and honesty, it is sometimes worth a look in the mirror before accusing others for the lack of it.

11-Oct-21, 20:15

I only and always speak truth and honesty here. If you don't like it or disagree that's fine with me but a separate issue you need to deal with. LS (one of your own) likes to play in the world of 'Onionesque' hyperbole. The more facetious the better.

11-Oct-21, 20:24

Oh LOL
There is hardly a bigger liar on FB than Thumper. What a charlatan! I find him more dishonest than Mo believes Softaire to be.

Yes, deny reality all you want. Repeat Groper's lies to your heart's content. Groper is a greedy, philandering, morally corrupt con artist--a perfect target for Russian compromise. And he was. He eagerly sought out Russian contacts, far beyond the secret tower meeting he lied about and you again treat as gospel. Groper is a traitor to the US and was imoeached twice for treasonous acts committed in office. Your glorious hero--the worst traitor since Richard Miller. Since Benedict Arnold.

Enough of your lies, Thumper. They are unwelcome here.

11-Oct-21, 20:32

Groper Campaign Manager Paul Manafort
So Softaire, you deny Paul Manafort was Groper's campaign chairman? Or do you deny he sought out contacts with Russian agents multiple times? Or do you deny he gave Russiannagrnts campaign polling data?

Which one of these are you laughingly and ignorantly dismissing as a lie, Groper style?

It is not possible to carry on civil discourse with Thumper. He will lie and refuse to back up his lies. I have always defended you from Mo's accusations in this regard.
