I haven't spoken with redfox privately about his but I am asking here: what was wrong with the deleted thread? Gameknot, can you provide any additional information?

I did receive one complaint on this thread on November 12 for the wonton use of the word "bullshit" but I deemed it to be a harmless invective, much like the use of the words "silly" and "idiot." Intelligent people have many ways of insulting each other and among relatively responsible adults these are often even inclusive jabs of camaraderie. In the case of a 13 year old audience I would expect the deletion of words as mild as "poopy face" and "I know you are but what am I" If this order stands then I expect the total destruction of all clubs at gameknot. Then intelligent people will have nothing to do here but play chess. I object to the deletion of the thread and would ask gameknot to either specify it's policy of deletion or rescind the order. Or, look at the website statistics. Do what is right for your company. I am not sure what happened after the general forums closed down. I'm not some dystopian totalitarian government. So just do whatever you want I guess, sheesh. But Trump won and covid is an excuse for out of control government.

redfoxrising 02-Dec-21, 03:05	gameknot deleted an entire thread I believe there was a complaint by a non member of the club which I thought was pointless and I ignored it not thinking anything would happen. It did not violate GK rules and I believe that the clubs are in danger of censorship past what mods control.

Although, in all transparency, the only report I received was from someone who seems firmly opposed to the left and heavy-handed authority, so in this case things are going haywire and I guess it's just an acceleration of the inevitable global-techno totalitarian authority flexing their censorship muscles. They did manage to silence the president himself. It's an honor, really.

redfoxrising 02-Dec-21, 12:52	I had to add Orgin of the Universe as a thread delete I have just seen multiple complaints from ONE user who seems to Think He can post anything and Report posts to GameKnot that are not wrong. This ONE club Member has been removed from this club. I will do this now and going forward will delete anyone that my myself or the other club mod believe are trolling in our club that has a good chance to be replaced with a new club as our founder is not allowed to control this club nor do I have the ability to change the club name as a mod. If you want to leave this club JUST leave now !

thumper 06-Dec-21, 09:36	A club only costs $20 per year but I don't know if GK will allow a non-Founder to pay the fee. I was under the impression they wouldn't.
