It completely depends on the person and thier own integrity. The internet often brings out the worst in people. They say and do things that they would not do in a face to face relationship. However it all depends on the person.

What kind of loyalty do you expect in chess? You play chess and try to crush your opponent into submission. That is the name of the game.

Fred ... most players join teams to get games ... if you change your teams strategy as you have had to players will leave if the games dry out ...
I don't really think it's about integrity...if you can't for whatever reason put the effort in players will notice and look for a team that suits their style

Some don’t care at much it seems. True they must care to some degree to even be on the team, but just being on a team might be good enough, even if things go topsy turvey…

We've been on a mini recruitment drive and so far the players have bought into the team ... which is good .. not all are chatty but there is a language barrier which I keep forgetting about ... not everyone speaks English !!
