Black instead protects the knight with a pawn, doubling pawns? 24 a5. Black should play Ka7, but instead does Bb4? White pins the bishop, the obvious response is to protect it with the pawn, c5. Black elects to sacrifice the bishop with a blundering king move instead. Yeah, I don’t buy any of this.

Pretty sure Nf5 was actually the correct response. So with 12 Nd6+ white trades queen for knight? Not Kd7? Sure, black will lose a rook, but that’s a lot cheaper than the queen. Old habits just die hard, I guess.

lord_shiva 03-May-24, 16:36	No I just went down the list of games played. If it is a team game he wins, if it’s “let’s play” he loses, usually with a careless blunder. I didn’t even go back a week.

mikemate 03-May-24, 20:08	It is the winning percentages. My numbers are 54% all games, 46% and yours are 53% and 48%. paradiesvogel are way out of wack, 49% all games and a whopping 73% for team games. This is visible for all players.

piero51 06-May-24, 10:52	A CLARIFICATION ON PARADIESVOGEL Hi Captains. I intervene only to point out that paradiesvogel is not Italian but German or Austrian . He has never played for our Team IHS TEAM ITALIA, nor will he ever play there. In his profile you can read "bozen" which is the translation of Bolzano, the capital of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. Because he doesn't call his city by its real Italian name, Bolzano, which is in Italy and not in Austria or anywhere else. He calls it bozen because in Italy the autonomous provinces enjoy bilingualism. In Trentino Alto Adige, a Region in Northern Italy, both Italian and German are spoken. But it is always found in Italy. But someone who says he is from Bozen and not from Bolzano and therefore does not feel Italian in Italy, will never be welcome in my Team of Italians. Especially if he's also a cheater! Sorry for the trouble but I wanted to make this clarification. Piero Captain

saguaro 17-May-24, 21:08	Another Rating Manipulator? I just removed avatar007 from my team. He only joined recently, but won his first 6 team games. This prompted me to check his past history. It appears that every loss or draw is from a position that is not losing. Could someone take a look & confirm my impression? Thanks!

mikemate 18-May-24, 08:35	Well, I will say this. Gameknot would not have done anything about this player because he only completed those six team games. They (formally) would wait until 77 team games are completed. Is it possible that he is just ignorant of the affect of losing like he did in the fast ladder games? When I started Kings of the Castle my star recruit had a habit of resigning fast games that did not finish that day. He wanted fast games in one day. Of course, he changed that when he joined our team.

He has changed his NICKname and is enrolled with Barmy Army. His new nick name is: imapirate. Unfortunately I stayed away from gknot and couldn't follow the cheater. And I find it against one of my players. I tried to write to him but he blocked me. Someone could write to him for me telling him to quit the games and also gknot because he is a cheater and that we found out. He can change his name as many times as he wants, but I won't leave him alone. No Captain will have to accept it. Please write and let's bother him, hoping that GameKnot will delete his account sooner or later. Thanks Piero
dynamic-dv 28-Jun-24, 23:44	iamapirate I feel his captain isn't interested in what he is doing and possibly encourages it by giving him as many games as he can get away with. What it needs for captains that are in agreement to put his captain on ignore together with any co-captains, this will result in them not being able to set up games with said teams. Just my thoughts!
