I had a comment from one of my players, directed at a player from the ~✠~ KNIGHTS TEMPLAR ~✠~ . I know my player from the Pretoria Chess Club, where we play together every Wednesday and some Saturdays. At the club my player is constantly 1920+. His daughter also plays there and has broken 1850 earlier this year- to my own cost! She is still climbing strongly and will probably be over 2000 very soon. So pokser asked me to look at no_genius. I put the two games in question through the app Analyze This- my algorithm machine at the office is busy right now and I can't use it for my own analyses. [The boss is interfering with my chess again!] The first game, where pokser is playing white, corresponds very neatly with the moves suggested by by Analyze This. Black has made 35 consecutive perfect moves without a blunder. Is there anybody who can have a look and voice an opinion? Personally I am not good enough to evaluate this game and as I said, my algorithm machine is running on an office project. Don't you just hate it when you have to work instead of playing chess? |

So far, no_genius has not met any of my criteria I mentioned in another thread here for cheaters. I have put one of his team games on the GK computer to see if it is a no-mistake game. Typically, a cheater meets at least two of the 6 criteria I mention there. I’ll report the results when the computer comes back. |

BTW, cheaters typically range in the 1300-1600 area. They can get better matchups in this area. No_genius fails this criteria as well. |

IMAPIRATE Update on Imapirate. The notorious scoundrel and cheater is carrying out his strategy of lowering his rating. He is doing it in a scientific way, a sign of a sick and twisted mind. The positive thing, at least for my team, is that he abandoned the game against my player donnicolino. Both he and I had written to him and had others write to him even with heavy words, that we had discovered him and that we knew that he was a cheat and what he was doing. So this crossfire convinced him to leave the games. But it was just a coincidence because he kept quitting (never by time-out!!! the first rule of the cheater): he lost all the mini-tournament games, he dropped out of private matches and then he won in team matches, except in one case: he had dropped below 1500 rating points, perfect strategy! Now he has only one team match left. He will certainly be looking for another team for the Team matches. Do you know if it is possible to send a message to all the Captains of the other Teams not to accept it? We have to be careful that it doesn't change its nickname again. Thanks to piero51 and wasatch. Tomorrow the new Summer Swiss Tournament is starting at the Pretoria Chess Club, where I am secretary. (See the link on my profile.) My first opponent is a guy to whom I have lost twice before, but he is just a little better than I am and I still hope to beat him. I see another player here, pokser, is in the group just above me and I won't play him, but his daughter is in my group and I have lost to her twice before as well. She is brilliant! I don't stand much of a chance against her, but I'm still going to give her as hard a game as I can. I started at the club in 2019 because I wanted to improve from a sub 1200 player to around 1500 or more. While I have been able to break 1500 once, I am regularly around 1380-1420 now. I am being tutored at the club by SA #2, Hans Steyn, and a number of other strong players. I am gradually improving, though, thus I remind you all of this again. I informed a number of opposing captains at the time that I first started being tutored to avoid suspicion. Please remember this, as I hope to get closer to 1500 again during this year. |

IMAPIRATE/CATSEYE Ciao everyone, my frends. He is not yet included in any team. I saw that on the Captains' Forum there is a warning not to accept imapirate/catseye and so I imagine that it will be difficult for anyone to accept it. However, I wrote to the creators of the mini-tournaments where it is inserted who our cheater is and what he does. Someone already knew him as catseye. I suggested that they resign the games they are playing against him to have him increase his rating. So instead of resing him to drop the rating, resign the opponents before, so the rating goes up..!! ahahahahaha. Someone is doing it and his rating has gone up (because of course he has also won Team matches) and I want to see how he behaves. Surely he didn't expect it, who knows how he stayed there...... LET'S DRIVE IMAPIRATE OFF GK unfortunately I didn't have time to convince everyone else to quit before he did... So now his Rating is back to 1400. The smart guy doesn't time-out, otherwise Gknot disqualifies him, but he resigns. I wanted to anticipate it, with four players I succeeded. When he saw that his rating had risen too much, he ran away!! Now I have to follow him if he signs up for some team. I wanted to ask you: in the Captains' Forum how many have been informed that there is imapirate/catseye, known as a rating manipulator and cheater? I also publish a reply that the Administrator of gknot sent to a friend of ours, smartdrive: "From smartdrive Hello, piero51, I reported Imapirate to the customer support. Here is their reply: Hello, smartdrive, Thank you for reaching out to the support desk. I don't see any previous complaints about this user under either player name. It's very important that users are reported for cheating, because if we do not see a history of cheating, we cannot follow up on these issues........" I wrote several times to the Administrator of gknot reporting the change of name and what he did imapirate ex catseye. It seems to me that you and others have also written, pointing it out. Because gknot answers like that?. Now I would like to report to gknot the latest behavior with all the resigned games. If this is normal for them...... Can we really kick him out of gknot?
