baddeeds 24-Nov-20, 07:57	Introduction I think it's a good idea to introduce ourselves, as the Team Captains of GK and other clubs like mine have done. So, with that, my name is Joe, and I've been a GK member for over 11 years. I was once on a team called The Angels. But, then, I joined, became a co-captain followed by captain of the team Balance. And, after about 7 years being captain, I'm still having a lot of fun managing my team.

joveyboy1 17-Dec-20, 18:11	My name is Joseph, though most call me Joe. I joined Gameknot in October 2013 when someone wanted me to play with them and their son. I accepted and I was absolutely terrible at chess, but yet I was fascinated by Gameknot and soon joined the team my friend was on. I quickly got interested in team matters and soon had the membership required to get promoted. I think I've been a co-captain/captain since January 2014 now. I've made some mistakes and had plenty of good moments. I hope to be around for decades more to come, leading Team Triton to the best of my ability   I plan to have a far longer presentation of myself. I'm not ready yet, but when I am, I'll post it in this forum. It will hopefully be a good read when I'm done

timjensen 02-Mar-21, 09:16	I'm Tim, captain of Yeshua's Army. I've been on Gameknot since January 2013 and joined Yeshua's Army in January of 2014, and have been playing online chess since 1999. I've been a team captain or co-captain for most of my time on my team. Mostly I have done this because others have not stepped up to do it, and I am one of those people who will fill a need if I have the time to do it. I love playing over-the-board chess as well, but rarely find someone to play it where I live. Plus I love playing online, as I can make my moves when I have the time. Perhaps when I retire, I will invest more time playing over-the-board, but that is also unlikely. My brother taught me chess when I was in the 3rd grade. I have been in love with the game ever since.

gdhamil 10-Mar-21, 20:29	I'm Glenn, Captain of Knights of the Sceptered Isle. I joined GK in 2008 or so and became Captain of the Knights within a year or two when the prior captain retired. I never thought I'd be a lifer, but got the lifetime Platinum membership when GK offered a special. I'm now the longest member of our team. Been playing chess since about 1970. Used to play in tournaments, but have never put in the time to get very good. Glad to be here...
