Is Nostradamus a great prophet or charlatan ?
youtu.be
From the death of Kings, to JFK, to Hitler and WWII, his predictions cannot be explained with rationality. Nostradamus, the great mystic, seer and prophet may have also predicted the end of civilization as we know it.

I am not that religious person. On the other hand, I am not an atheist. I believe some has supernatural powers, such as prediction the future. There are many stories about Nostradamus. I am fascinated by the stories of prophets, seers, clairvoyants etc. but be careful most are charlatans and will con your money. Be always skeptical IMHO.

Hm-mm?
Does this mean it came from an alignment of the stars-n-planets instead of Wuhan?

Nostradamus was a poet, and a somewhat feeble one. Not a prophet. Charlatans have made hay out of his prophesies, however. Penn and Teller did a wonderful piece on this.

It is no more meaningful than the Bible Code, another bit of silly nonsense, but one at least statistically plausible. The problem with any of these things is the sifting. What impresses me are specific predictions made in advance, like the kind you get in science. Not haphazard connections created as hoc after the fact.

Jean Dixon has made a lot of predictions that were true. The only problem is that her hits were mostly made after the fact. Her misses have been glaring. She is no more a soothsayer than Nostradomus, except I'm not sure Nosty even pretended to prognosticate.
