I think he appears to be like the US doctors who experimented with blacks who were contracted with syphilis. Although Penicillin was available for treatment of syphilis, the treatment was withheld to see how syphilis ravages the body. The consequences were devastating. Dr. Fauci funded Wuhan lab research indirectly thru Allied Health co. He is the chief of immunology and infectious diseases at NIH. Dr. Fauci's approval is necessary to fund the research from the federal money research grant. Dr. Fauci denied that there was no gain of function research included in Wuhan lab funding. This is a controversial subject until it is proven otherwise. If US can do their own research at Boston university lab, why did he fund the research of covid virus at Wuhan lab? Wuhan lab is also Chinese bio-weapon lab and so Chinese might experiment with gain of function on this virus. Gain of function means the gene of deadly virus can be modified and transferred to similar virus which is more infectious but not lethal. Please check my first post on gain of function. Independent scientists are speculating that the deadly covid virus from Wuhan lab accidentally escaped from its lab into general population. But the choice of chair was an unusual one. Jeffrey Sachs is a Columbia University economist with no expertise in virology, evolution, epidemiology, or public health. Cooperation among experts in different fields is usually a positive and rewarding effort. Ace And it's possible that the virus escaped from the Wuhan lab even though it originated in bats, because the Lab was certainly aware of and working with Covid-19 before June 2019 because China had already seen a radically more minor epidemic seven years prior (limited to the China Sea area) and had found a somewhat less effective vaccine for it (somewhat less than 50% effective). China graciously gave that extensive research to the world where it was used, with the help of China, to produce a covid -19 vaccine that was produced and used effectively by such countries as Russia and India, etc. --- Somewhat different from America's Pharma approach to making $ Trillions on a noticeably better Covid -19 vaccine, huh?
