![]() By contrast (to my dislike of bourbon), I need to say that the by far best Dry Martinis (gin) I've ever had, I have had in American restaurants or hotel bars. |

![]() It's vodka, grenadine, Baileys Irish and heavy cream Mix gently to allow the cream to curdle and then let it set for a while until the red streaked cream globules float to the top and the horrible looking red stuff settles to the bottom --- You'll know when it's ready. Prepare and serve in a clear 4-6 ounce glass which isn't too wide that you can fill to near bop (a champagne glass works). |

![]() SO much better than store bought. Best Gin and Tonics ever! |

![]() I have made porters, stouts, lagers, and various ales. I grow and dry my own hops, and I have a pergola for grapes (and hops) but cannot get enough to make my own wine from them. I have made wine from beets (delicious), plums, apricots, and rhubarb. The rhubarb wine is most excellent. I have made wine with my dad from his grapes. His first batch turned out well. We needed to have bottled the second batch long before we did. |

![]() The wife, after many years, now makes one of the better ones around here. Tip, make your bar syrup with brown sugar! About 1 tbs per dink. Mix equal parts sugar and water, microwave on high till just starting to boil. |
