My favorite beers?Yours?List them here.I will try them all!
I have many...and the ones I like the most ARE NOT ever sold in the Barrooms or even the finest hotels!:

First choice:
1.Westvleteren XII made by the Monks.Exquisite!

But if I must lower my standards and go to a nice hotel bar...

2. Stella Artois,a pilsner.Smooth,clean,not hopsy.Very drinkable for the summer.
But it has to be "on tap"only! They even give you a special glass to drink it in!

3.And since I am 1/2 Irish...then I have to go with Guinness Stout!
But either on Tap(preferred)or in the can,not the bottle!!Why?The can offers
a widget in the base of a beer can that creates a nucleation point, allowing the CO2 to be released from the liquid which comes into contact with it,thus assisting in maintaining head on the beer.In other words...Guinness remains a thick foamy head much longer when poured from a can vs a bottle of Guinness with no widget. If tapped from the barrel, the head is equally thick, but the bartender usually has to take his time and wait, let the head settle down a bit, then fill the glass again. You can almost cut that beer "head"with a knife!

That’s almost as strong as wine! I like standard bottled bud, which means I’m not a proper beer drinker, but the stuff tastes clean and refreshing to me. I stick a couple from the fridge into the freezer for 40 minutes for super cold but pre frozen.

As for the Irish influence, I like Jameson, but that’s not beer!

Well yes and no as regards to the WestV

There are different "strengths":

Westvleteren Blonde (green cap), 5.8% ABV, introduced on 10 June 1999.
Westvleteren 8 (blue cap) (formerly Extra), 8% ABV.
Westvleteren 12 (yellow cap) (formerly Abt), a 10.2%

So,not all of them are like wine.Depends.I should have been more specific.

Not a Bud drinker, but Stella A is very smooth and summer drinkable.
It kind of is similar to Corona, but with no crappy aftertaste.
Everyone tastes vary. But if I am having an Irish stew or a German
Knockwurst Sauerkraut sandwich(heavy),then Guinness is a good choice...
at least to many.
