Suing Trump

We must take the struggle against Trump unethical acts to the courts as well as to the streets.

Emoluments
Day one: Constitutional ethics violation.

If G wanted to allay any fears of US citizens regarding his abuse of power, he could divest and roll everything into T bills (treasury bonds). I would have complete faith in this sort of "blind trust," coupled with a release of the tax returns.

Until then--no. The man is self compromised, and deceitful.

Freedom Kids vs. Donald Trump
The USA Freedom kids (a dance troupe of young girls) were hired to perform at a Trump hate rally. They agreed on the provision they could recoup their expenses by selling merchandise and promoting themselves.

After arriving Trump reneged on the deal. The girls filed a suit against the campaign, but dropped it given very few of the vendors who sue Trump for nonpayment succeed. Ask Rudy about the $20,000 a day he was billing Trump. LOL!

Emoluments II
Two lawsuits against Trump were dismissed by the Supreme Court. It appears the president is free to engage in emoluments now, provided the lawsuits against him can be delayed until after he departs office, in which case his stacked court will dismiss them as "moot."

I don't know how is violation of the law becomes moot. His impeachment trial isn't moot.

P.S. I searched for a thread entitled "emoluments" but didn't strike success. This lawsuit thread is the closest I could find.
