Nixon's Watergate versus Hillary's Deep State
en.wikipedia.org
The Watergate scandal was a major political scandal that occurred in the United States during the early 1970s, following a break-in by five men at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C. on June 17, 1972, and President Richard Nixon's administration's subsequent attempt to cover up its involvement. After the five burglars were caught and the conspiracy was discovered -- chiefly through the work of a few journalists, Congressional staffers and an election-finance watchdog official [1] -- Watergate was investigated by the United States Congress. Meanwhile, Nixon's administration resisted its probes, which led to a constitutional crisis.[2]
The term Watergate, by metonymy, has come to encompass an array of clandestine and often illegal activities undertaken by members of the Nixon administration. Those activities included such dirty tricks as bugging the offices of political opponents and people of whom Nixon or his officials were suspicious. Nixon and his close aides also ordered investigations of activist groups and political figures, using the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as political weapons.[3][citation needed]
The scandal led to the discovery of multiple abuses of power by members of the Nixon administration, an impeachment process against the president that led to articles of impeachment,[4] and Nixon's resignation. The scandal also resulted in the indictment of 69 people, with trials or pleas resulting in 48 being found guilty, many of whom were top Nixon officials

Don't get me wrong. I want to clarify how I understand about the " Deep State." Keep an open mind. You can now see how the DS is showing its claws to grab you. Unless we are aware and vigilant against the DS, we can become the victims of the DS. Let me explain about the DS. You can rebut, correct or whatever you like but no name calling please. Swing voters and not the brain washed cults who defeated Hillary.
Check the message of DM and other Trump haters in this club. They believe that, those who voted for Trump are like brain washed members of a cult who have no reasoning power to differentiate between good and bad. In their opinion, majority should have voted an angel like Hillary in the last 2016 presidential election. This is not true.

In retrospect, American voters are very flexible. Majority will vote the candidate whoever can best serve their interest or our nation. If there is no good candidates to select, they will choose the lesser of the evil. The US voting history proves my point. Several months before the 2016 election presidential candidate Hillary was a front runner with a higher advantage poll of 55 % but as the election date came closer, her rating slipped because of multiple scandals that surfaced against her.

Now the poll rating is about equal 45 % between Trump and Hillary. The rest of the 10 % are swing voters who put the final nail in her coffin when they learned of the corruption in Democrat party establishment, the corruption being Bernie Sanders was unfairly kicked out of the nomination in favor of Hillary.

I don't have rigid one party political affiliation. In other words, I am a swing voter. There are also swing states. IMHO, we should vote the candidate whoever can best serve our nation. This is my take home message.

Groper Haters
"Check the message of DM and other Trump haters in this club. They believe that, those who voted for Trump are like brain washed members of a cult who have no reasoning power to differentiate between good and bad."

Those who voted for Trump ARE like brainwashed members of a cult who have little to no reasoning power to differentiate between good and bad.

Hillary was not an angel, but compared to the great Satan Groper, she certainly was. She made mistakes. Her worst mistake was saying, "we're going to put a whole bunch of miners out of work." Why would she say something horrible like that? Why not "we're going to find miners much better jobs--some in clean, renewable energy technology."

Sure, it wasn't quite the sound bite, but it is far better than Groper's, "we're going to bring back mountaintop removal, desecrate the environment, and further engorge the grossly inflated bank accounts of fossil fuel industry executives at the expense of the health and safety of coal miners and their families!"

We see the corruption in the Groper crime syndicate. Paul Manafort, Groper's campaign chairman, sentenced on eight out of eighteen felony counts. He will likely be retried on the remaining ten, given the vote was 11 to 1 in favor of conviction--the lone hold out being a die hard Groper supporter who had to yield on the eight simple charges. The ten more complex charges were too much for the conservative to assimilate. We understand the difficulty far too many conservatives have with complex ideas, like evolution and climate science.

“God’s word is true. I’ve come to understand that. All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell. It’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who are taught that from understanding that they need a savior. There’s a lot of scientific data that I found out as a scientist that actually show that this is really a young Earth. I believe that the Earth is about 9,000 years old. I believe that it was created in six days as we know them. That’s what the Bible says. And what I’ve come to learn is that it’s the manufacturer’s handbook, is what I call it. It teaches us how to run our lives individually. How to run our families, how to run our churches. But it teaches us how to run all our public policy and everything in society. And that’s the reason, as your congressman, I hold the Holy Bible as being the major directions to me of how I vote in Washington, D.C., and I’ll continue to do that.”

U.S. Representative Paul Broun, a Georgia Republican who had a seat on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. Like a big stiff, sweaty middle finger raised up by Republicans as a flag to our nation's scientists.

When a Democrat says something profoundly stupid, like the guy who talked about islands capsizing, he has to be profoundly medicated. Republicans, in contrast, come by this appalling ignorance quite naturally. Paul Broun is by no means the lone exception when it comes to reflecting Republican idiocy. Examples abound--including the frothing buffoon we chose for our highest office.

"Our relationship with Russia has NEVER been worse thanks to many years of U.S. foolishness and stupidity and now, the Rigged Witch Hunt!"

Staggering. Stunning. Surreal.

"Remember that the intelligence community -- unanimously! -- has concluded that Russia actively interfered in the 2016 election to help Trump and hurt Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. The Senate Intelligence Committee, which is chaired by Republican Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina concluded the same earlier this summer." CNN Politics

Groper's tweet was a big hit in Russia, with MFA Russia responding: "We agree."

"Truly weird Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky reminds me of a spoiled brat without a properly functioning brain. He was terrible at DEBATE!" Comrade Groper's Tweet on Senator Rand Paul.

Groper is so presidential. So wise. Such a leader. So worthy of respect and emulation.

I am aware that most of you are familiar with Nixon's Watergate Scandal but from my perspective, I have to introduce it, so that people will understand what I am talking about. Let me put the salient features of Watergate scandal in a nutshell.
1. At the time of Watergate scandal, computers and internet were in its infancy. Most of the documents and data were kept in files and locked up in cabinets at Watergate DNC headquarters. If I can remember, GOP wanted confidential information of their political opponents so that they could use it as a weapon to attack and win in the next election. Democrat Alabama Governor, George Wallace ran in presidential elections 4 times. He had a history of psychiatric disorder and depression. If he really had a mental problem, GOP could claim that insane person is unfit to become POTUS.

2. With this view in mind, 5 GOP burglars invaded the Watergate DNC headquarters and burglarized. They were caught.

3. Nixon was not directly involved in this burglary. He was later informed of the burglary and tried to cover up. Burglary is a crime. He should have informed the law enforcement authorities and save his neck but he did not.

4. Nixon pretended that he never knew about the burglary. He lied and even said, " I am not a crook." He tried to delete the portion of the tapes related to Watergate scandal but unfortunately, a portion of the crucial portion of the tape was left behind. The rest is history. He resigned before he could be impeached.

5. My point is that how dumb those GOPs were at the time of Watergate scandal. They should have gotten the search warrant and sent the law enforcement agents to DNC headquarters. Then they could confiscate all the papers and investigate further. It was not difficult to find an excuse to get a search warrant because the south was still ruled by white racists and still favored racial segregation. George Wallace was the champion of racial segregation. Citing security concerns, such as such as to prevent racial riots and even civil war, GOPs could easily get the search warrant to invade and seize the documents legally by law enforcement agents. I hope mo-one may agree with my assessment.

Nixon's Watergate Scandal.
Nixon was not directly involved in burglarizing the DNC headquarters in Watergate. He knew later of the burglary and tried to cover it up and so he committed a crime for cover up. He had to resign before he could be impeached and sent him to prison.

What went wrong with this Watergate scandal ? Could the GOP perfect this scandal ? Can they make this kind of burglary legal with impunity and walk away without any negative consequences in modern times? I believe you can. Let me explain.

FBI agents as burglars.
In Watergate scandal, GOP used burglars to steal the DNC confidential secrets to use as a weapon to defeat the Democrats in election but they were caught and apprehended.

Democrats studied the Watergate scandal and improved the method of stealing the GOP confidential secrets. Instead of burglars, if they can send the FBI agents officially, there should be no problems and so they sent FBI special counsel, Mueller.

After 911 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) was created to investigate terrorist activities to prevent again another 911 twin tower attacks where 3000 innocent civilians died. According to FISA rules, FBI can intercept phone messages, wireless and search and seizure of documents with impunity.

How to evade 4th amendment of US constitution by FBI burglars ?
The 4th Amendment of US constitution forbids unusual search and seizure of US citizens. To prevent unusual search and seizure, first of all, there should be a probable cause and secondly, they need a warrant from the FISA judge to undertake search and seizure.

Having said that DOJ in collusion with FBI used Russian Dossier to get a warrant. It is unclear whether the FISA judge is just a rubber stamp to approve the warrant. Most likely, FBI agents concealed the authenticity of Russian dossier which is now becoming clear that it is a hoax. So the FISA warrant was granted at least 3 times to search or wiretap, Trump's activities.

All of the GK members in this club can see now, how corrupt is the Deep State. In Watergate, Nixon was found guilty of crime. In this Deep State scandal, the opposite is true. Trump is the victim and is helpless to fend himself off from these FBI burglars.

FISA abuse exposed.
www.foxnews.com
Recent news clearly showed that Mueller's investigation started by using Christopher Steele's phony dossier. It is illegal to search and seizure of any information by law enforcement agencies. We Americans are protected by 4th amendment of our US constitution.

Mueller's investigation is going to end soon and he will file a report on his findings. Since his investigation is illegal, his report will be like a garbage and should throw out into a trash can. He will become a criminal for conducting an illegal witch hunt.

Fourth Amendment of US Constitution.
Fourth Amendment of US Constitution
en.wikipedia.org
DM: Mueller and his team of FBI investigators are top law enforcement authorities in our nation. Whether the Russian dossier is raw sewage or phony is irrelevant. As top law enforcement officials, they can easily find it out. Phony FISA search warrant was requested not once but for four times. Besides, Mueller investigation is going on for 2 years. They have enough time to rule it out whether it was genuine or phony FISA warrant. It will be ludicrous to assume that Mueller does not know anything about phony FISA warrant that DM claimed.

As American citizens, we should abide by the US constitution. The fourth Amendment of the US constitution clearly stated that, if the law enforcement officials violates it, their evidence is inadmissible to incriminate a suspect or even a criminal in the court of law.

I am not a great fan of Trump but he deserves equal justice, more so for being a president. At this point, I am compelled to believe that Mueller's investigation is nothing but a politically motivated HRC's Deep State, witch hunt.
-----------------------
The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is part of the Bill of Rights. It prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures. In addition, it sets requirements for issuing warrants: warrants must be issued by a judge or magistrate, justified by probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and must particularly describe the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.
Fourth Amendment case law deals with three main issues: what government activities are "searches" and "seizures," what constitutes probable cause to conduct searches and seizures, and how violations of Fourth Amendment rights should be addressed. Early court decisions limited the amendment's scope to physical intrusion of property or persons, but with Katz v. United States (1967), the Supreme Court held that its protections extend to intrusions on the privacy of individuals as well as to physical locations. A warrant is needed for most search and seizure activities, but the Court has carved out a series of exceptions for consent searches, motor vehicle searches, evidence in plain view, exigent circumstances, border searches, and other situations.

Trump will play along with Mueller's report.
www.msn.com
Trump has changed his mind. With bipartisan support, the House unanimously voted 420-0 to make Mueller's report public. Previously, he claimed that since it is illegal search and seizure using phony Russian dossier, it should be discarded like a garbage.

After it's release, we can analyze further whether Mueller's investigation is indeed a witch hunt.

17-Mar-19, 10:18

...it seems most pundits are minimizing the impact of the Mueller report anyway. Witch hunt? Not likely considering the volume of indictments already underway, as well as how a few have revealed quite a few illegal and unethical activities. More fear or seek (depending upon party) the outcome of the New York courts investigations.

The term 'witch hunt' is only being used as a defensive tactic to gain ground among loyal followers. It's an unsubstantiated outcry to deflect attention and gain sympathy. It will also be useful to trivialize whatever Mueller observes as well as to minimize the media's observations.

Casting the nets about willy-nilly further and further from the boat in the hopes of finding something, anything to justify the years long investigations. To me it looks like sour grapes because Clinton lost the election. They're actually doing exactly what they threatened to do; Obstruct, hinder, harass, resist, block, impede, sabotage, etc.

If after all this effort they don't find something significant, what will happen then? Yet another battery of investigations?

But I disagree about "fishing expedition" anyhow ... there are too many top-rung cohorts already convicted or indicted to exonerate the prez completely. It's not fishing for "whatever", it's fishing (perhaps) for the inevitable good catch.

McCain hatred against Trump
was many times more than that of Democrats and other Trump haters that he gave the unverified Russian dossier to FBI and news media. This is an irresponsible act. FBI - Mueller is also negligent to authenticate its content before starting its investigation. DOJ is also liable for FISA abuse. It appears clear to me that all of them are above the law. Let's see can they get away with impunity from their crimes.

DM : Don't be naïve and believe that McCain was a sincere and honest man when he handed a phony dossier to FBI and news media.
--------------------------------------------------
www.msn.com

"Spreading the fake and totally discredited Dossier 'is unfortunately a very dark stain against John McCain.' Ken Starr, Former Independent Counsel. He had far worse 'stains' than this, including thumbs down on repeal and replace after years of campaigning to repeal and replace!" Trump tweeted.
McCain defended his decision in his book titled "The Restless Wave: Good Times, Just Causes, Great Fights, and Other Appreciations," writing that he "did what duty demanded" in passing on the documents.
"I discharged that obligation, and I would do it again. Anyone who doesn't like it can go to hell," he wrote.
McCain added that any risk the president might be compromised by Russians "had to be investigated."
McCain also drew Trump's ire when he voted in 2017 against a plan to repeal former President Obama's signature Affordable Care Act, indicating his vote in a now widely viewed thumbs-down on the Senate floor. McCain's vote sank the GOP's planned "skinny repeal" legislation.
