“Exoneration”?
www.politico.com

What we have is a political hack for AG spining the results who stopped the investigation by Mueller and then determined Trump’s behavior was justified. He won’t change any minds with his tricks and we are going to have to continue to investigate until we get the truth. Once Trump is gone and we replace the corrupt Trumpsters we can get the full story.

You see how Trump reacted. He just thinks everyone is there to protect him. He got cover from a corrupt enabling GOP but we have just begun. His polls haven’t budged from his “exoneration”. Keep it up Dems!

Proof Trump tried to get Mueller fired and provided misleading and inadequate statements. But Barr says that is justified. Dems must call Mueller and other in to testify.

Somebody is really mixed up.
<<Praise the Lord. Finally, the truth will triumph over the evil.>>

There are devil worshipers who are celebrating over the lies that are
being told by liars.

They call the Devil the Lord, and the lies they call truth.

So to them, a person that lies, cheats, and was calling an investigation
a witch hunt, is now celebrating because another one just like him has
said there is no evidence of culpability.

Maybe we will never be able to read the whole report, they call it
"Top Secret" just so we will not be able to read the whole thing.

We all know the whole truth anyway, what else could the report
reveal, other than what we know already.

TRUMP IS GUILTY OF EVERYTHING IN THE REPORT
and whatever else he has done unlawful, and illegal,
but trump lovers praise him and think he is a GOD.

The stuff that has surfaced in less than 24 hrs after the redacted Muller report release should cause one to wonder which report AG Barr used to come up with his conclusions. Surely it wasn't the Muller report. Jon

We don’t need to impeach Trump the GOP will do anything to defend him. We need to block, expose, neuter and destroy the criminal. This is a chance to put the corrupt right wing GOP party on life support using fed up disgust with Trump and the GOP as a weapon. His tax plan was a bust as most figured out it was the rich who benefited. We need the GOP to go down defending him and thus turn millenials against conservatives for good using him as a poster boy. In a decade they will be irrelevant if we don’t lose the center.

An innocent person
In law, a person that is accused of a crime does not have to
answer any question that might be used to incriminate him.

So trump supporter think, well we can interpret the law as well
as anyone else, so that is why our beloved president decided not
to submit to any kind of interview by the special council.

And he did comply to answer questions that the special council
wanted to ask, and for self interest, he employed the opinions
of all those lawyers that he wanted in order to give any answers
that might be inaccurately interpreted by those that wish to see
him incriminate himself.

HOWEVER, this applies to a court hearing, when a person has
been accused of a crime, and the interrogation might lead the
suspect into an unwelcome area, where he might cast doubt or
indeed incriminate himself and be found guilty.

The difference in all of this, is that if our honorable president had
nothing to hide, and knew he had not committed any crime, why
would he refuse to subject himself to interrogation, when all he
was required in such an query, was to answer any question with
pure unadulterated truth, which any innocent person would do.

So it is obvious to anyone with simple logic, that Mr trump did not
concede to comply with the special council request, because he had
to know that he did have some guilt, and that if he had chosen to
submit to questions in the FBI investigation, and he lied, as he is
the kind of person that habitually uses false statements and other
devious ways to make himself appear as though he is an extremely
innocent, and smart person, then those lies would not only be used
to accuse him of unlawful acts, but also would be sufficient to show
that he did in fact become personally involved in criminal and illegal
activity which would be sufficient grounds to remove him from the
position he holds.

In summation any person that is not guilty, does not find it necessary
to constantly try to convince people that an investigation for truth
is some kind of a conspiracy.

We have a mobster for a president that hides behind his lies, and
uses lawyers to help him do whatever he wants, right or wrong,
knowing that he has conducted that way of life always, and has
never had to answer for any crimes or illegal activity.

The sad part, is that the electoral system will again place him in the
office which he is not worthy to occupy again, for another four years.

I do hope something happens to prevent this, for the good of the
people of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

"The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.". Pg 220

"Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my presidency," Trump said, according to the Mueller report. "I am f@cked."

Proving Misconduct
That is easy. His public transgressions merit impeachment. Why do we yield this slob and scofflaw such wide latitude?

Had Obama done a tenth of what the Dotard has done half of conservatives would have died of apoplexy. Too bad Democrats have no candidate anywhere near as supremely unqualified or unfit for office to cull conservative ranks this way.

chaz-
21-Apr-19, 10:22

...but there is the political side of this issue. Republicans in Congress will not try to unseat a prez unless they have to (whether they want to or not). If the Dems repetitively scream for impeachment, it will only embolden the Right against it (and the Right holds the clinching votes). Stop the mantra. Let the courts divulge the facts.

To the best of my knowledge (and I could be wrong) Impeachment is a one shot deal. If Democrats go for Impeachment and fail, that's it. Then you will have a Donald Trump that no longer has to fear being Impeached. Imagine that for a moment.

I would not put it past Republicans to say they would vote Yes and then change thier vote at the last second. But I'm pretty sure they wouldn't pull that kind of stunt unless Trump won a second term. If that happens all bets are off. Because the Republicans are only concerned with the agenda of the Rich and Powerful. With all of the too big to fail banks reporting record profits. You can almost guarantee that Wallsteet is not only pulling string's behind the scenes; but as 2020 gets closer and closer. It is my opinion that they will be highly involved in trying to re_elect Trump.

Keep in mind that these same banks orchestrated the largest theft of wealth in recorded history. They not only manipulate commodities, recorces, homes etc. They seek to Privatise, utilities, school, prison healthcare and much more. they seek to Privatise our very Government. Because everything can be done in the dark. Private companies are not subject to freedom of information requests. The only possible oversight they face, is governmental oversight.

Trust me when I say they want it all and they want it yesterday. IMHO if re elected Trump will be more than happy to give it to them. If it benefits himself , to do so. You have a man Trump who will do anything to win. His freedom depends on his reelection. As far as Trump is concerned he is fighting for his life.

However the rich do have a different set of rules. So he may just get fined.

Wells fargo can defraud customers out of tens of millions of dollars, then pay cents on the Dollar for fines. Then it becomes just the price of doing Business. They actually budget money specifically for fines.

So in essence these individuals can steal millions, with Little to no problems.

If I steal 100$ from 7Eleven or my neighbor. I would spend up to three years in jail, on top of being fined.

Yeah that seems fair
chaz-
21-Apr-19, 13:35

...and, what are the alternatives?
apatzer
21-Apr-19, 17:02

The alternative is in my opinion, quite improbable at this time. It requires us to love our neighbor as ourself. To forgive others for their tresspasses. To put away silly destructive emotions such as envy, greed and to love our enemies.

That way the general population would stop falling for cons and get rich quick skeems. When those who are in power no longer have the easy ability to milk the common person of money. Much would change. When all people regardless of status and wealth, are held to the same standard of discipline. And Justice is a for thought rather than a punishment.

Like I said quite improbable. However not impossible.

Then some would ask, who would enforce such lofty ideals?
That ironically would be the very thing that prevents those ideas from taking root. So those ideas can only be suggested. The moment one tries to enforce. Those very ideas are abused and cause the opposite to happen.

Hence the improbabilty. We've been told those ideas for over 1000 years already. We are making small progress

lets talk about republicans
<<..I agree with Dmaestro. Impeachment furthers the divide and creates more adversarial situations. It will be more effective to prove misconduct, to expose fraud, and to educate those who vote (especially Centrists). Choose the high ground.>>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is so easy to do, "Forgive and forget" but not when republicans saw the opportunity
to try their best to try to crucify Clinton to the cross, and nail him GOOD.

They went out of their way, like a lion, when he gets a hold of a wild buffalo by
the snout, and will not let go until.l the rest of the lions get on top to force it
to the ground, so they can start eating it alive, by tearing out the stomach,
and the poor animal can only make his noise letting the world know it is in
unbearable pain.

That is just what they wanted to do to Bill Clinton, when they discovered that
he succumbed to what a lot of normal, healthy man does, when a woman becomes
aggressive, and begins to fondle, and beg, when the man thinks he is alone,
and becomes aroused, as it would happen to most healthy, young men.

So they took him and put him through the ringer, and drew as much blood as
they possibly could.

That was one incident.

The person we are now writing about, is a man that has not waited for women to
become aggressive and do anything, according to his own words, he goes after
them "like a bitch" and brags he can do whatever he wants to them, as soon as
he grabs them by the pussy, and also explains that he can because if you have
money and a name, it is easy to get them to do anything you want.

If that were enough, that might be easy to forgive and forget, with the thinking
like, "Well he is just a man like any other, so we can't blame him for that".

But he has done a lot more than just that, and would have done a lot more if
those around him would have done all he told them to do, according to the report.

He is guilty of obstructing justice, by firing all those that he could, to see if he
could discourage those that would take their place to give up investigating and
reporting that he is also guilty of inviting a hostile country to meddle in our
system of democratic rule..

Everyone even the republicans that have to make excuses for his stupid attempts
and acts that violate normal decency, and those that he wants to do as if he is
a mobster boss. which they along with all the people know about.

But all those that want him to be allowed to go unscathed, will certainly be
rewarded, because they have the last word on what his future will holds for him.

He will again be RE-SELECTED by the same illegal system that they imposed on
the American people, and attached to the constitution without public approval.

We all know that popular votes are worth no more that a rotten leaf on the
backyard of our homes, and when he gets selected again by that same illegal
system, those republicans will write to us.
"Okay already, you have lost again, quit bitching and moaning, and get over it".

May god bless American Democracy, until the day comes when things are
done the right, and decent way, with justice for all, as is written.

Regarding Clinton
To be honest a man or woman who is in our military can be court-martialed for adultry. Under "General Article." Article 134. In some states it is actually a class A misdemeanor. In our military depending on the circumstances you can do jail time for such an offense.

There is also conduct governing undesirable behavior that brings shame or discredits the Military.

As commander in chief and chief executive, responsible for our laws. Our commander in chief should be held to an even higher standard than that of enlisted personal or officers.

What Clinton did while on the job was disgraceful and he cheapened and discredited the office of the presidency.

One should not compare offenses with other Presidents. Each should stand on his own and be responsible for his own short comings.

He should have lost his job, it is a serious matter. Yet he like Trump is pertected. Not to mention Clinton passed glass-steagall that paved the road. For the banks to be free to do whatever they wanted to. And that lead to the 2008 crissis that effected the entire world.

If Democrats insist on impeaching Trump without any impeachable issue of Russian collusion, then they are wasting their time to solve other more important issues such as 1. immigration, 2. economy, 3. healthcare. The voters will turn against Dem presidential candidate and will vote for Trump in next 2020 presidential election.

The president is supposed to not only enforce our law's. they are also supposed to be law-abiding. Hence the term High crime's and misdemeanors in the Impeachment clause. Meaning exactly what it says.

According to how our constitution is worded, a president could face Impeachment for even just a misdemeanor.

Let alone charity fraud, paying off various women to affect his election. Aka campaign finance violations.

The sad fact of the matter is this. Even if Trump did exactly what he said he could do. I.E. shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave. People like you would still justify a reason to defend him in your own mind and heart.

It doesn't matter what your clan cheiftian does, your tribe will justify it and make false comparisons etc.

The fact of the matter is a house divided against itself can not stand. Where their appears to be division in government, is only an illusion. Democrats will not do away with Republicans and Vice versa. They are two different wings on the same bird. The system is working as intended. However you are free to entertain any fantasies you like.

A house divided against itself, cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved — I do not expect the house to fall — but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other. Either the opponents of slavery will arrest the further spread of it, and place it where the public mind shall rest in the belief that it is in the course of ultimate extinction; or its advocates will push it forward, till it shall become lawful in all the States, old as well as new — North as well as South.

The speech was given by African slave liberator, GOP president, Abraham Lincoln who was very concerned of the inhumane treatment and welfare of the African slaves. Our nation plunged into civil war and Lincoln defeated the southern white racists and Democrats.

The story should end after the civil war but it is not the end of the story because Lincoln was assassinated by a white extremist. History can repeat itself to Trump. Mueller investigation of Trump's Russian collusion and his final report appears that the game to be over but apparently it is not the case. Democrats will continue the witch hunt to impeach him.

Yesterday, I enjoyed Easter Sunday. I invited my friend to my house and had a good feast. Christians celebrate the resurrection of Christ and his rise to heaven. The analogy is similar. If GOP and Democrat sit and reconcile together at a feast of the dinner table, America will become the greatest nation on earth IMO.

I wonder how you define “greatest nation on Earth.” What metrics would you use?
lord_shiva
22-Apr-19, 14:49

Greatest Nation
We don't have the largest nuclear arsenal on Earth, but we wield the most effective.

Never before have a people had within their means the power to slaughter so many with so little effort. Within ninety minutes of the order given, most of Earth's population could lie within smoking ruins. One hour, thirty minutes.

That is the United States, Russian, and China. North Korea is also a nuclear power, the newest entrant into the throng, but it lacks the means to destroy more than five or six cities. They continue working to extend their range, which is not quite yet global.

France, the UK, Israel, India, and Pakistan all have nuclear weapons, but in much more limited numbers.

Belarus, South Africa, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine all HAD nuclear weapons but shed them. I'm not sure why Belarus got rid of theirs--probably simply taken back by Russia, which would be true of Kazakhstan and Ukraine as well.

South Africa voluntarily gave theirs up.
