Nonetheless, I think he's acted like a real mensch the last couple weeks, sticking to principle and the law in the face of what must feel like overwhelming pressure from tRump and the trumpies. One could easily say he made his bed, now he has to lay in it. But he could have folded in many ways. Supporting the EC results. Filling the leadership void these last months while tRump has been sulking and throwing a hissy fit. Reaching out to the incoming administration. I just realized today that the angst I've been feeling about having an petulant child at the helm is somewhat assuaged by knowing Mike Pence is at the helm. Never thought I'd say that. I give him kudos.
