britgrl
29-Aug-09, 16:33

Thriller! Go zombies!!!
cause holding on to someone while being scared can kinda be romantic..

rilke
30-Aug-09, 06:39

coopershawk
24-Oct-09, 21:34

Romeo and Juliet
It's more accessible, because it is timeless, whereas the history plays are less meaningful if
you don't know at least some of the actual history.

Rossini or Puccini?
rilke
05-Nov-09, 09:05

Puccini

Standing
And at arms length. And with me running shoes on. I can't think of anything worse than being stuck on the floor in a headlock. Swift knee to the knackers and then peg it is much more my style

seems more an ethical issue.

Captain America or Spider Man ?
obsteve
27-Nov-09, 12:51

I never read Capn America
SO I don't know who he is really, or what his superpowers.

Peter Parker, on the other hand, has a marvellous sense of humanity about him. Plus I like the way he sewed his own cozzie. Respect !

Moving on...

I just recently deduced I am a dead loss at closed chess games. I think I get frustrated with the lockdown and make daft moves. So I have to learn some closed chess game tactics, and also learn some openings that lead to open games.

So, Open or Closed chess games?

coopershawk
27-Nov-09, 13:12

Open
Steve, for closed games, I think the trick is patience. Look for a way to make one piece better, or look for a way to focus your pieces on a critical square.

Ordinary weekend or national holiday?
britgrl
30-Nov-09, 23:16
