![]() the fact that our immigration and border policy will eventually lead to disasterous consequences here in the US? I think the recent bombings in London has has been the result, in part, to the UK's very lax and permissive immigration policies. I have been reading where those policies are under review and will predict that they will change. This is a problem in all western European countries and it results in a direct threat to the US. Why? There is no visa requirements for citizenry to travel from those countries to the US. Therefore anyone can hop on a plane and enter the US regardless of their intentions. Will the US eventually require visas from all countries? I believe this will become a necessity in order to have some control over who enters the US. |

![]() The problem now is we are getting a lot of disaffected young muslims who are easy meat for the activists. You are probably right that the US (and Britain) will tighten their immigration controls unfortunately in both cases it is stable door after the horse etc the people who will be responsible for the next terrorist atrocity are probably already in the country and have been for many years. What the governments of the the USA and Britain should be doing is asking why a stranger will climb on a bus and detonate a bomb killing people they do not know and have never met. Brainwashing is the answer we generally get but i think this simplifies things to much. We need to ask the question why? Then we need to address the root causes of terrorism poverty, disenfranchised people, Israel. The Muslim world believe strongly that they have been more sinned against than sinned. Until we convince them otherwise we will all have to keep dodging the bombs! |

![]() Why? We have about 4000 miles of border. Our southern border is a funnel for anyone and everyone to enter from anywhere in the world. Our northern border is no better. Canada's very lax immigration policy allows our [US] border to be easily breached. For now I can care less why people do what they do. First we need to control the influx of illegals. After that is under control then we can worry about the WHY. In the US we also have a very diversified culture of different ethnic minorities. Most of our people are law abiding but we have our own "home grown nuts". |

![]() come from. Sometimes it seems the US has a duty to allow anyone in here for humain reasons. We will become no better than the corrupt Mexican and Central American govts. That is the real problem. We cannot be the employer for everyone and anyone that wants to enter. Maybe if we can stop the flow the people will get rid of their real problem, their own governments. Vicente Fox is a prime example of a crooked politician who lines his pockets first and thinks nothing of his people. Mexico will always have legions of poor trying toget here no matter what or how we do it. We still need to try to stop or just slow down the flow. |

![]() The owners of the business and the gangmaster responsible have just been jailed (not for lon enough in my view). Poor people will always want to go somewhere to earn the money to feed their families (just as i would) this makes them easy prey for the traffickers! But as you say Chuck some of it is down to dishonest politicians who misuse the aid money given to their governments to help their people. Sadly this is not helped by the politicians being given the money in cash, in Spain at the moment the Russian mafia are buying whole villages with aid $'s provided to help them improve their country!! |

![]() called Coyotes [I hope that Coyotefan is not one of them ) ] They are paid big $$ to do this. Anyhow, the poor will always be with us in this world. We can never eliminate poor people. I will start a thread today called the "POOR". I will tell you a true story about my encounter with the POOR. I would like to hear if anyone can top that. |
