BTW, I am sorry that you heretofore have never encountered a UCO...
I've got a little number that does 0-60 in about 5 seconds...its been viewed as a UCO before... )

Don't know much about Norfolk really..except that Horatio Nelson was born there, you have some great Broads and a football team that has known better days.

I've seen the rise and (especially the ) fall of TLSF and the monsters it spawned, 1A and F&B. I think the Great Debate is dead, DOK, LEO, JEFF, STINKY and people like MARKALLEN have pretty much covered everything. I have been shocked by the slide from a lofty , evenhanded, philosophical attitude to being hateful, intolerant and plain mean-spirited. I won't mention anyone in particular, it may be the site itself, the means of letting off steam here, amongst friends and people you like to hate.
Applying for membership here is a vote of support for TLR. he says he's a Christian, which I consider a plus (in my country Christians are being derided and almost on the brink of persecution, especially in the media) , and he can be such an incarnation of the America I hate, but he is A MAN, one of a dying breed.

Hi everyone. I don't think I formally introduced myself. My name is Jon and I live in beautiful Northern California. I have a wonderful family, my wife Jennifer and I have been married for 18 years and we have 2 great children, my son Jonny who is 16 and my daughter Katie who is 14. I love chess, football, family, and golf. I hope to bring some laughter and valuable advise to this club. I also hope to laugh and learn something from you guys.
