![]() Please don't comment since I am still playing as White. Is there an advantage for Black versus White ? since Black has a Queen and pawn because the values for Q = 8, R = 4, N = 3 and P = 1. So, Black has Q + P = 9 points versus Black's R + N = 7. According to the values Black has 2 extra points advantage and therefore he should win but let's wait and see. |

![]() Please be advised and satisfied with my comments only. Since I am playing this game, avoid any comments or suggestions to me because according to GK rules it is forbidden to seek advice from other players when we are playing chess games on GK. My opponent has a GM strength rating of 2506. When the opponent has nearly 200 points higher than me it is difficult to beat him and the most I can play is a draw instead of losing the game. Let me correct the relative value of chess piece. I have white pieces R + N and not black as stated wrongly in the previous message. Similar to Einstein's theory of Relativity the value of chess pieces are relative. For example, even if you have a very strong piece Queen but your opponent has positional advantage with one move ahead and your opponent can make you with a pawn which you are defenseless, then your Queen becomes useless. Having said that I have White R + N = 5 + 3 = 8 versus Black's Q + P = 9 + 1 = 10, Black has 2 points advantage. Please check the relative value of chess piece in Wikipedia in the above link. Besides, Black has an advantage of endless checking against White. If Black can check continuously and exchange his Queen for my R + N his Black pawn can march into Queening square and claim victory. The problem for Black is, his K is far away from my R + N and his Q cannot take away my R+ N easily since my K is defending my R + N. I will update the moves, even if I lose the game for the benefit of GK members to analyze. |
