London System #3 (See description for lines)
I started a third installment of a London System Tournament. Check out the tourney @ gameknot.com

If you are between 1400 and 1950, I would sure enjoy your participation and getting to know you as a fellow club member!! And, you would have an opportunity to see a good opening system for those with little time to study theory deep openings!

Problems encountered playing the London System
Hi there,

It would be interesting to note problems for white when playing the London System against the different systems.

One common problem is when white has the Bishop on f4 and black plays Nh5.

One way round this is to delay Nf3 so the Queen hits h5, however if black has opted for an Indian system with pawn on g6, then the knight would be protected.

Quite often to prevent the Bishop being taken white plays h3, to retreat the Bishop on h2.

How soon should we play this ? Should we always play it ?
