Il go first my name is Paul and im from good old england. Been playing chess since i was 11 but didnt start playing regularly until about 3 years ago and now im addicited to it and this site. I dont want to bore everyone with details about me so il leave it there. But welcome to my new club!

I'm David and I'm from Maryland in the USA. I'm reading a dog training book cause I'm about to get a Golden Retriever. I am also training my heart out to be on the show American Gladiators, but I fear I'll never make it! I'm just too darn skinny!

Welcome david its good to have a second member of C.A. Good luck with getting on american gladiators. When do the try outs start? A new series of Gladiators just started over here. It certainly is a blast from the past for us.

Yeah American Gladiators just started back up after being off the air for 10 years. The new season 1 was a few months ago and the new season 2 started 2 days ago. They'll have tryouts in another 3 months I guess (they have them in several cities around the U.S. all at once). But I'm not going to go try out until I weigh quite a bit more! This season they seem a lot more interested though in "human interest story" contenders, like a guy was missing a leg, another is deaf, another is one of 13 children, etc.

Im Mike / Muttit / Fozzy - I like cars, drinking, chatting, used to play a lot of squash 'til I was erm side-lined shall we say...oh Chess is ok too....but I'm not hardcore as I haven't had any Chess dreams yet ;o)

awwww that group hug was nice theres no better way to welcome everyone to the new club and encourage them to play chess than a group hug. Ive just appointed savanah in charge of the group hugs.

I would like to keep my anonymous name very anonymous.
But in the serious way there was a movie (I don't remember which probably an animation) where the character call the planet he found Bob. I though that was the coolest thing and I couldn't stop laughing since then my friend call me bobbob. Better than jeremyjeremy.

That is cool. Bob is a cool name and if i found a planet bob would be towards the top of my list of names to call it.
Did u know George Foreman has 8 kids and 5 of them are called George. If he found a planet he would probably call it George.
