Sutuation Vacant
Hi and welcome to the club, I hope you will have a good time here.
I’m the unofficial, self appointed, unpaid press officer for the club and I have been doing some interviews with members who are involved in the club mini tournament. (See mini tournament interviews thread, to understand what I’m talking about). To make these interviews better, I could do with including some analysis of the game under discussion and this brings us to the point of this post. I’m no good at analyzing games and could do with some help. Are there any volunteers out there who could lend a hand with this? I should point out of course that the position of club analyzer will also be unofficial and even worse unpaid.

Who is the Ravster?
...well, i don't know what to really say. my name is Ravi Sharma. i am 12 (13 in 2 days), and i am the captain of a quite new team called 'Ravster's Chessmates'. as i think you can tell, i am the founder of the team that was built on the 5th January 2008. I feel that i have raised a really great and friendly team that have reached 79th in the team ladder once, and i have a player that has a huge rating of 2041. i had once had some crisis that happened, which put me in a bad situation, but i managed to clear up the crisis, and the team is OK again

I love football and chess. my recent sucess is beating an U18 England chess player
(it was a fluke!). i have a bad rating due to many timeouts. hopefully, i can climb back up

Thank you for inviting me savanah527

ah ok i'm tired & it involved going up the page......I guess if you don't get any volunteers you could ask the interviewees to comment on the game ? - just a thought...

but I'm sure someone will help out here.....

...
My name is Jim, and I'm a chessaholic. I knew little more than how the pieces moved until a friend introduced me to Gameknot 2 years ago. Not able to get enough of the game, I became a paid member last November. I now eat, drink and sleep chess. My wife says I am obsessed with the game as I stay up late at night playing it and often rise very early in the morning to start new games. I often go to bed thinking about my strategies, dream them and start into my games upon rising. The only thing better than my chess games is . . . well, I can't think of anything!
