yes i can recommend a good biography. Buy his ''my best games of chess''. You can get it used very cheap. In it is a very good biography. He is my all time favorite player.In fact i consider him the greatest chess player ever to walk the Earth. (imho).www.amazon.com. There used to be a very good bio on a video but it disappeared off the Internet.

Thanks, bc. I have two editions of MBGOC: the one I'm currently studying (on your
suggestion some time ago, actually , edited by Taylor Kingston in 2013, and an earlier
one edited by Nunn in 1996. Is this the bio you are referring to?

if these books you mention
have the extensive Bio that is inserted in Alekhines original book then yes. Alekhine wrote MBGOC. It is in old descriptive notation (P-K4 N-B3 etc).

Both my editions are in algebraic; lots of excellent and extensive analysis, but no bio.
