not that I think there Are sentient Martians --
but if there were. . . .
then I think the first thing would be to Listen, and to hear.

Retirement plan
Me and some of my friends in the university are planning to offer our (by then) well educated and experienced selves for pioneers to be sent on one way mission to mars in, let's say, 2060? I figure dying from exposure to vacuum or burning up during entry beats slowly wasting away in a retirement home
