![]() Antsigin - Zhuravlev (1952), white missed his chance and resigned. White to move. Presumably, white resigned because he was thinking: 1. Kxf3 Kg1 And then black's h pawn walks in to be promoted. Better for white is 1.Kf2 which is an immediate stalemate. Simple, but I like it. I found this position in Van Perlo's book |
