![]() Firstly, to my team mates, cascadejames ciocionheart aljaru and episode . I have been proud to be part of such a formidable line up and I thank you all for your enthusiasm, ideas and general input. Secondly, congratulations to our opponents who played such a great game that we somehow seemed to run out of viable moves. So well played shamash tigerblood sonata 296 and easy19 (if i have missed anyone out, i sincerely apologise). Also I wanted to say something about the starting position. At about the time we were kicking around the idea of this game, I had been trying to beef up my knowledge of the French by studying some games. It was from one of these games, Movsesian v Lamprecht, that I found our starting point. Of course, the position was perhaps a little more unbalanced than I had thought and I have already apologised to my colleagues on the black team for this. Anyway, somewhere here, I have this game and I will find it and reproduce it here as I suspect there may be some interest in comparing the actual game with our interpretation of it. I will be back here as soon as possible once i have found the game. Best wishes Harry |
