Engame Tournament N01.Spanish Exchange variation.
Hi Club members,
I hope the opening meets everyones approval and all can accept the invitation.I'm especially looking forward to seeing how our "gun player" Shamash handles the 2 Bishops if he is able to accept the invitation.I think we all may learn a lot.

P.S.I'll be putting Mednis "From the Opening Into the Endgame" on ice till my tourney games are completed.

Accepted
This could be interesting. Quite a range of players. It looks like the games are rated. That may deter some
people, but that is a choice to be made.

Apologies too all.
My mistake I misread when starting the tourney. The games are rated unfortunately.Hopefully none will be deterred. After all its about trying to improve our endgames and not rating points.

No problem
I agree that improvement is more important than ratings in this tournament.

I will be making notes and jotting down my thoughts on all my games in this tournament. If a few others could do the same, we could carry out a post mortem when the thing is finished. I feel that this will add to the educational benefit we all get from it.

what invitation?
Wolfgang, did not receive that invitation; or if I did, had no idea it was for your endgame tournament.

Will watch for the next one.

For this one, the Spanish, would have had nothing constructive to contibute.

The end
All games have been completed, though this tournament has sputtered a bit. We were a couple of players short,
so technically GK thinks the tournament is still continuing. I think the only way to end it is for everyone to with
draw, then the games will stay on your record, but the tournament itself disappears.
