Be6
Hi guys,

sorry for the long absence. I'm handing in my thesis next Tuesday :-/
In fact I wonder what White will do after Be6?

If 37. . Be6
My thought is that white plays
38. Rxb7
And black is finished.

Of course
37. . Qxf6 fails because of
38. Bg5

So I am looking at Re6, trying to figure out what happens then.

Harry,
This is mostly for fun, so if you are tired of it or not having fun, it's OK with me if you want to terminate the
game. Nobody is personally invested in this.

resign
I have 2 reasons when i say resign,

first is the inevitable defeat is almost here but considering we started with a very poor
position at best , although i think we were lost from the start, and to all our teams credit we
did the best with what we had.

second reason is i have been reading team shamash postings and i came into this thinking it
would be a learning exercise for us all, however if you read there comments its all about how
wonderful shamash and his team are and how rubbish we are, which to be honest has really
annoyed me.

so i say give it up, anyone else agree with this i would be interested to know.

And thank you blueshrimper for your captaincy.

And please in the next game lets start with an even position.

ok for me
Hi guys,

I'm ok with your decision. I find it pity that the other team gloated over our misery, I suppose Shamash is an excellent opponent for everybody and he said at the beginning White would win hands down. It is a true shame they do so.
I am sorry for the lack of reliability I have shown. It's a tough time for me, believe me.
I found in you an open and encouraging team, thank you.

Have fun,

Giulio
