Continuing the trail James has blazed for us, keeping our Club alive
Anyone else with me on wanting to continue our fun and games and learning here that James with his vision began for us?

yes
Sounds like a good idea. There are plenty of clubs out there, but I like the focus on endgames.

There is still activity in this club. and as long there is activity the club is alive.

So yes James stay away from that button that says resign. and play the club,s end game.

What is going on here?
Sorry guys, can anybody explain me what is happening? Why close the club? I mean, none of us quit chess after losing one game, right? So why should we quit here?

closing
The club is not being closed because black lost the consultation game. Please read my post at the top of the list.

As easy19 has quickly demonstrated. It would be very simple for anyone to restart the club with a different
founder/sponsor.

easing our Founder's burden
Every other Club that, like ours, has over 30 members has moderators who share the time and responsibility of monitoring the threads.

Perhaps there is someone James trusts who can moderate our postings and contribute ideas in the spirit he has always shown.

Let's try to keep going if we can.
I'm all for continuing this project which James started.
