![]() I changed my vote from a5 to Be6 to agree with Pete so that is where I see that that we are at this time, and unless someone else wishes to vote. That's how we stand. |

![]() so let me be quite clear. a5 and Be6 are both good candidate moves. but if any one changed their a5 to Be6 because they thought i recommended it then they were wrong. so last chance to go back to a5 if that really was your best choice until you thought i supported Be6 |

![]() the move, but to me it made a lot of sense that Be6 would connect our rooks. Also, if he should decide to exchange B's the f file will open for our rook, unpin our f pawn, and we will have 3 adjacent pawns in the center. But as Pete pointed out he will probably not swap. |

![]() ...........Ngf6 attacking e4, a square white seems to have a problem defending. At f6 the N is better placed since it cannot capture white's pinned N which is protected by the B that will drive our Queen from the diagonal. I vote for Ngf6 |

![]() Intended to be 17.h3.........Nf6(forced to save our N) Also threatens NXe4 which would protect our d6 pawn and force Q to move |

![]() contribution for now is: stealth, there are things about Nf6 I like. But what happens if white plays Qxd6 in response? we'd have two pieces being attacked twice each. Then if we play, ...Nxe4, we go to -3 with his Qxe5. moving the N on e5 instead of capturing the pawn is only slightly less bad (leading to trading B+P for B ). but I may be missing something. |

![]() I'm going to stick N x N for the reasons canvased above. |

![]() just a thought to get you thinking on an alternative track. Note this is not a recommendation merely a thought to be considered. |

![]() .............Nf6 Qxd6 winning the pawn. I prefer .............Nxe3 Bxe3......c5 to defend the pawn with the Q |

![]() 2. Bxc4 Bxc4 then is R is threatened |

![]() I like that Nc4 to preserve the p at f7 Bxc4........Bxc4 Rhf1........Nxe3 Bxe3.......c5 defending the d6 pawn |

![]() I was a bit confused with Rhf1 as his Rook is already on f1? |
