I'd like to keep the bishop as well. but I think the issue of having or not having the pawn should play in to our choice. keeping my vote the same for now. if bhidragon were chiming in, I wonder if he'd be encouraging us to step back and do some long-term planning as he did last vote game, even this early. the planning process is something I'd like to learn more about. for example, what are the pros and cons of your, edward, idea of possibly castling long. seems even that might influence our choice here at move 5. Therefore, we, in my opinion should follow the move which offers the greater stability to our defense: 4.d4......NXd4 5.NXN....BXN 6.c3.......Bd6 but if: 5.NXe5...0-0 And our position is at least neutralized?
fr1ar 09-Nov-12, 17:04	@ hogfysshe Thanks, it was a very enjoyable game, I won't say fun game because I had many hours of pondering, staring, thinking, giving up, coming back and looking again trying to find the reason behind the move I was proposing. It was very much a learning game. And I'd also like to thank bhidragon for his time and patience.
the-sigularity 09-Nov-12, 18:59	Numerical order corrected On my last post, I probably confused some of the members because of the incorrect move sequence, therefor I re-arranged the moves to the proper numerical order. 1.e4.....e5 2.Nf3...Nc6 3.Bc4...Bc5 4.0-0...Nf6 5.d4.....NXd4 6NXN....BXN 7.c3......Bd6 but if: 6.NXe5 0-0 I hope this works for you, if not, please let me know.
