Top Chess is designed to discuss openings, opening theory, strategy, tactics, and endgame theory. Member vs. member games (rated or non) are strongly recommended as you can use the chat feature to annotate during your games. I think that a human minds analysis can be more easy to understand because you can get "why's" of certain moves and positions not just a number. Guidelines: -Read and participate in forums and be respectful of others opinions. -From time to time videos of GM games will be provided for discussion. I highly recommend watching them and participating in those discussions. -Study your own games making notes (you never know when positions may arise again). I will be more than happy to review games with you. -THE USE OF ENGINES TO AID DURING YOUR GAMES IS UNETHICAL AND EASIER TO FIGURE OUT THAN YOU MAY THINK AND YOU WILL BE DISMISSED. Of course these are just guidelines but I believe in these concepts for improvement. I will always be open for suggestions and criticisms to improve our club which in turn will improve our chess. In the future I would like to start the Top Chess team to get in some competition. ALSO INFORM US OF ANY TOURNMENT VICTORIES OR ACHIEVEMENTS AS WE WANT TO RECOGNIZE OUR VALUED MEMBERS!!!!! .
