Description:

The Caf� de la Regence was one of the most famous meeting places for chess players in history. Opened around 1688 named in 1718 chess players moved in from the Caf� Procope and all the great players met there. The Caf� was moved in 1855 and finally in 1916 the chess room closed. Hopefully our Caf� will also become a popular meeting place for players of all levels to socialize and play chess.
