puzzling

is white always on the south end of the board moving north? sometimes its hard to work out which ways the pawns are going. Great puzzle though..took me 20 minutes to work out.

great puzzle, but how on earth would you arrive at such an arrangement of material whereby the kings are at opposite ends of the board to where they originally started?

Quite common really. Both kings were guiding home or clearing the way for passed pawns. The queen on b8 is more than likely a promoted piece.
