Okay, I tried it again later...So this needs an explanation to jog the memory and to aid in future, similar combos. 1. B×f6 (low hanging fruit)...c5 2. Be7 (covers d7, opens e5)...Ke5 3. Bg4 (covers f5, e6)...Ke4 4. Ne8 (leaves f5, e6; ready @ d6)...Ke5 5. Bf6+ (set-up for mate)...Ke4 6. Nd6# BK was confined to e4 & e5 all the way. 2. Be7 was <Just In Time>. 3. Bg4 got the torch from N w/ f5, e6. Will that prime the pump? We'll see... 🤠|
