How to do this!

First, determine which squares around BK are all ready covered: d2, d3, e4 (has N), f2.

Therefore, which squares are UNcovered: d4, e2, f3, f4. (You can let the website show this by touching on the BK.) Now, which pieces can cover most of these uncovered squares in one move?

Answer: Only the Q can, by moving to the f-file, via f7 or f8. There, she'll cover f3 & f4

Now, look at where BK can move once f3 & f4 are excluded:
• If Ke2, Qf2#
• If Kd4, Qc5#, but she can only reach c5 from f8, NOT f7!

Consequently, the puzzle is solved:
1. Qf8...Ke2 (or ...Kd4, 2. Qc5#)
2. Qf2#

The 7/18 = 39% failed assuredly did not follow this process.

It seems the h1N has no purpose but to obfuscate.
Notice: there is a barrier @ d1, d2, d3, formed by the c2B & e4N, and this wall is used in the mate with Q @ f2, BK @ e2.
