Demonstrating the power...(abbr.: dbl.disc.chk.; DDC) When subject to DDC, all the usual rules for check are suppressed, and the K must move OUT of check in one move, or throw in the towel. Beginners have a bit of frustration with this, but they soon get over it, especially when they learn how to use it against their opponents! 😉 Sir Charles, don't let the litany of D moll, conspicuous consumption, and easy peasy shiny whiny get to you.
