Not My Favourite
Didn't like this very much - unnatural & contrived starting position & too many pointless blocking moves. Blocking moves & spite checks always detract from a puzzle in my view.
Still needed a little calculation for the key-move so gave it 2 stars.

Agreed
This was a ridiculous position. It was pretty easy, so I was surprised by the relatively low solve rate. But that could be due to all the clutter.

Agreed 2
This puzzle could be iimproved if was clean, with so many pice useless and some unatural positions.

Super easy, but not a likely position. It seems like a lot of daily puzzles were added several years ago. Why is that?

Reminds me of fridge magnets for some reason.

It was a tricky puzzle, the first one was a bit tricky to solve but found out in a few seconds, as first move had to be a check then the next hard to find but knew had to check with the queen and then found out the capture on h3 then the rest is their piece just getting in the way.
so didn't really like this puzzle much

Definitely heavy on the extra pieces; I think this is all that's necessary:

I don't mind the blocking moves though. Blocking on g4 is a consequence of guarding against 2.Qg4+ with a piece; you could do it with a Black pawn on h5 in stead of the bishop, but it feels a bit deft to make the White's queen take/stop on that square after you've prevented it the move before.

Very low quality puzzle.

Perhaps you are right, the two knights in both corners are in unnatural positions. The first thing I saw is a check mate to white king (mine), so the next step is check black king and try to trap it into a mate-web.
Not my favourite kind of puzzle. But we have to solve it.

Perhaps not too bad
if you're rated 1145. Maybe the clutter was intended as a distraction and it may have been a factor in ultimately frustrating about 40% of attempting solvers. But I don't like bizarre positions.

checks needed
Whenever there is a puzzle that requires checks due to their own king being subject to checks or even mates, it makes the puzzle much easier. Put the white king on a6 and remove black's c7 pawn. Now White can consider moves that are not checks.
