What's the problem? Is the solve rate so low because the first move is no check and no Q-sac?

Maybe

Maybe wardh you is right. I solve the puzzle, but in my first annalizes I try check first. Only later I realize the Qf5 was a win move.

Generally a check on move 1 is required if the other side has nuisance checks.
