Fairly Tricky

Nice composition but I found it reasonably difficult. The key-move isn't at all obvious to me & it took quite a bit of thought to find it. Gave 4 stars because I felt it deserved more than 3.
I think this is one where you either 'see' the pattern quickly or you don't.

Stumped, needed a hint

Great puzzle. It's one of those days where the Easy puzzle, while more difficult than the Hard puzzle, is still a very tough puzzle.

Nice and hard puzzle

Instructive puzzle, really hard, and good for calculation and some mating patterns. Nabokov wrote a good and interesting novel about chess, !The Luhzin Defense".
