CAN'T UNDERSTAND BLACK'S MOVE ?Qf8 carries no real threat until black makes a move. Knight moves will either allow the queen to protect the knight at c5 or the white bishop to control the a2-g8 diagonal. Moves by the black bishop or pawn will allow the white rook (e1) and knights to do their mating tasks. I hope I have simplified enough for you. |
