two solutions
One of the solutions was easy to find. Follow the rule of "always check, it might be mate".
The second solution, even if I had known in advance there was a second, was a bit more difficult since it includes allowing white to put black in check.

Start with Kg6 rather than f5+

Then, sometimes white plays f5+.

Perhaps what schizoidman is referring to is that there are 2 possible ways to start;
1. Kg6 # 4 / f5 # 4

For 1. ... Kg 6 2. Ra8 h5 + 3. Kh4 Ndf5 #

1. ... f5 is the one we all follow. The other is left for much more refined spirits. Everything is pointed out in AMG

second solution
1. ... Kg6
2. Ra5 Nef5
3. Rxf5 Nxf5
4. Nd5 h5#
or
1. ... Kg6
2. f5+ Nexf5
3. Ra2 Rf3
4. Ne6 h5#
or
1. ... Kg6
2. f5+ Nexf5
3. Nd5 h5+
4. Kf4 Ne2#
and several other defensive tries that don't work
