What's wrong with Rxg4 threatening f4# and Rg5#

1. Rxg4 doesn’t work
1. Rxg4 is met by 1… N:e4, preventing the Rook check on g5 and allowing 2…K:d5 on 2. f4+

To baggies
This is wrong because of capturing the pawn en passant.

Every key I tried seemed to be thwarted by 1...Nxe4, which made me focus on that square. There seems no way to prevent this capture, and the P on d5 is now left unguarded. The only mating move that covers that square is 2. Rh5, so the question becomes: how to stop the N on e4 from interposing? Only one way.
