Another solution?

It seems to me that this mate-in-2 is also solved with 1. Qa8, threatening Qxe4, Qa3, Bxf4, and Nfg4 simultaneously. Black cannot defend all threats on his next move. Please post a refutation!

I couldn't help myself klillng the Queen first

by Bxf4, then it took me a lot of wrong moves... nice puzzle and a bad day for my average

Your second and third "threats" do not threaten mate in 2;
As for your fist threat, this is thwarted by 1...Rd5.

If you actually tried out your alternate solution on the site, you would see why it fails. I still cannot understand why people don't play out their proposed solutions on the site, to see why they don't work.
