multy solution puzzles

Is'n here many solution correct. Rook a1, a2, a3, a4 are all the same, I got rong when I tried rook on a8?

How does the rook go to a1, a2 etc. in one move? Can't be done. The one and only rook move should be 2. Rd8 and then 3. Rd4#. Other rook moves allow the king to escape with 2...Ke4
