Solved quickly
Maybe I was just lucky, but I solved this one very quickly. The puzzle was clever, but the position was not very plausible.

bh5
Doesn't that work also?

1.bh5?
Then black plays 1....Qe4 and W cannot mate.
1.Qh4 protects the pawn on f2, so white can also mate with 2.Rg1 in some variations.

struggling
Somehow I decided to start with the Queen but unfortunately for me it was going everywhere except the right place!. Mistake over mistake before finding the solution. Then the second move came quickly.

In the position we can see two black figures partially pinned (half-pinned). It is clear that the two black pieces will have to move to defend the King from the threat. White will checkmate by taking advantage of the pinned figure and interfering with the other figure.
1.Qh4! (2.Rg1#)
1...Rg3 2.Bf3#
1...Qxh4 2.Bg4#
1...Re3 2.Pf3#
1...Qe4 2.Pf4#
All very easy.
