Funny 'option combination'. I don't know about you, but the key was the very first move that occurred to me  .

I didn't get it. I was trying to force black into moving the pawn from h3-> h2 by just moving my pawn and it would result in ckeckmate in 2 moves as well. I don't get the queen move after using the hint.

why does the queen have to go to a8? Why not b7?

@shsiii
because the black queen could have capture a rook or blocked making it mate in 3 or more.

Very smart
This puzzle is very smart, with several options. A beautiful miniature.
It took to me a while.

Fun..
No too difficult..Hermaj was the obvious key and it was just a matter of trying all moves with her until you got it..

Good Composition
It took me a while to work it out but there was always the feeling that I was on the cusp of doing so which kept me going. Very enjoyable.

Clever puzzle
Took me a while. Oddly enough, the key occurred to me early, but I didn't follow it up. It was only after I tried it and got a mate it dawned on me that other, similar, moves would not do.

The black queen must remain pinned
Otherwise it can check White, delaying mate to more than 2 moves.

Knowing this made solving it a lot easier, because it means the white queen has to stay on the long diagonal.
