We are not "diverting" or redirecting anyone automatically to the premium memberships page, regardless of your status. Please make sure you are actually clicking/tapping the player's username, and not the golden pawn icon that might be right next to their username, if they are a premium subscriber themselves. As the former will take you to the player's profile page, and clicking/tapping the golden pawn icon will indeed take you to the premium memberships page.

I still have that question about annotations, and if there's a way to make it limitless for how long they can be. To me, it's important because there is another ongoing consultation, and I'd like to include all of the game chat. With so many members, it looks like I'll have to cut some of the game chat which make it be, as if, some posts were deleted so that I can annotate the game chat without the annotation getting deleted because it's too long.

jkarp, sorry, unfortunately it is not possible to make something limitless (or unlimited), as everything has a limit in nature. We do apologize if the limit that was set for how long an individual annotation comment can be for each move is too short, but it appeared to be ample at the time the game annotation feature was created, given the length of a variety of game annotations that we reviewed. Again, please accept our most sincere apologies if the game annotation feature provided by GameKnot does not fit your purposes, but at this time it is not possible to alter the limit due to technical reasons.

This question/suggestion is different from both above, but I thought i'd interject it anyway.

As a higher rated player,I tend to get all kinds of messages with all kinds of questions, game challenges(through messages),even with my auto decline settings and more.I am also aware of the ignore list which could prevent some from messaging me.But that ignore list will not prevent tons of others from messaging me.Many messages are unwanted and I do not have the time or desire to respond to them.

Could it be possible, one day,to have a new option that would prevent ALL incoming messages blocked from entering my messaging center when I want them to be blocked? The block could be possibly designed and overwritten to allow GK to respond to me,but not anyone else.I think this option is a justifiable one, since many players simply desire complete privacy to all general respondents if they so desire. The option could possibly be set up as to not allow the one using a general message block to make outgoing messages either while the general block is activated. Its not a snobbish or insulting to want a general message block.Infact, its the opposite, since you are blocking all...not just a small defined number of players.

I think this would be a great option,to say the least.

How to look at a player's Preferences to type of games.

As the captain of my team,I was going through the roster of my players to find out what their individual preferences are as the max number of team games they are willing to play simultaneously and the type of game, 3-, 5-, or 7-day games. Is there a way?

I have a different question for GK about annotations. So, when I play an OTB Master, Nathan, he'll do R odds or Q odds games in his simultaneous exhibition matches. I've noticed this before, but when you annotate a game all the pieces have to be on. Is there anyway to change that? When you set up a regular position, you can rearrange it so that there isn't a Q or R. And, when I annotated my Q odds game with the Master, I didn't think that a diagram was needed since I called it Q odds. But, a commentator said, "At first I was very confused by this move, since I've forgotten this was a queen odds game. Maybe you should remind the audience" Of course, I can set up the starting position by commenting on that annotation. But I'd like it better, if I could start the annotation without the piece that he's giving up.
